I have been a voice teacher privately & on the university level for over 35 years! I am a master teacher with NATS, I have taught in chicago ( chicago studio of professional singing 1982-2019) I moved recently to Santa Fe. I have been very fortunate to teach my technique to so many singers that are professionals: tony award winners,Grammy nominated, opera singers here and in Europe jazz pros, pop singers etc. I love what I do and am committed to those who really want a career in music. I am an opera singer & no longer tour but I do commute to chicago for 10 days every 6 weeks as I have over 40 singers that come to have lessons while I’m there . I Skype/ FaceTime all over the US & Europe. I can be found with many many recommendations on LinkedIn and Facebook

Janice is an amazing voice teacher. I have seen and heard her help all types of singer; from professionals to those who started out tone deaf, even people who have had nodes. Her ability to hear where a voice currently is versus what it is capable of is where her expertise shines through. It's almost a diagnostic super power. She has helped singers undo long term bad habits and always starts her training with breath support and gaining a fundamental understanding of your unique instrument. Everyone is different. Her approach focuses on you as an individual and gives you the tools and training to flourish while maintaining a healthy instrument. I have been studying with her for years and keep coming back as we are always finding new ways to improve on my sound. After your first lesson, you won't just hear the difference, you'll feel it in your body. There's no better feeling than that.

There is no one like her. She is so adept at finding whatever your vocal issues are and quickly fixing them. A true, true vocal technician. Her methods and tenacity for helping you to create and nurture your best, most powerful voice are beyond reproach. She is a gift and truly a wonder, a voice saver, a career saver and a life saver. I have literally given her lessons as gifts and those singers who are now still studying with her years later are so happy and grateful to have her. And they sound better than ever. What else can I say?
