- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on several factors such as your location, if you want a quick service call, a half days worth of work, a full day or if you want multiple days of work. My pricing also includes my time traveling to and from, gas, mileage, organizing tools before hand, going to the store for something that is usually needed, sometimes (especially for business owners) my time in creating an invoice for billing, and my pricing also includes the fee I have to pay Thumbtack for giving me you, the customer. Other factors such as what type of work is being done are considered as well. I can tell you that my prices are reasonable for this area and I always give free estimates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When they call, I book an appointment to come over and I either take some measurements and get back to them shortly there after with a quote or I give them a quote at that time
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years ago, I trained for 5 years straight doing just concrete and trained to be the concrete finisher that I now am. From there, I got into landscape installation for about 4 years and then started framing houses, remodeling and new construction of homes. After doing all of that stuff, I started studying the different modernized home improvements (such as tile work and concrete resurfacing amongst other stuff) and how to install them and today I'm 47 years young with lots of experience
