Daniel was great overall! He was friendly, professional, and honest. He installed 2 ceiling fans and patched up some holes in our walls (one of which we hadn't previously seen and was kind enough to do so himself). We would hire him again for future projects! Thanks again Daniel!

I can’t say enough about Daniel & his helper Mike. They came, they saw, they conquered! They fixed toilet, walls, drapes, patched & painted & cleaned up impeccably! I was skeptical about an hourly rate thinking it could drag on but they gave me an accurate & fair time frame, picked up all the supplies they’d need and completed everything on my request list on time! WVMM was hired to install two ceiling fans in our patio ceiling. Built into the back of the house, the patio has a hip roof with a wall board ceiling. There was a plated outlet in the center of the ceiling with switched power. The basic job was two install the two fans evenly spaced hitting the 1/3 spots in the ceiling using the already existing power.
After checking things out, they were off to the hardware store to get the appropriate hardware. Work started immediately upon return. As with all modifications to existing structures, you cannot know for sure what you will find until you open the walls. So not everything was as it appeared from checking out the clues on the visible ceiling.
One of the interesting problems: Behind one of the wall board seams where there should have been a stud there was a 24" gap of open attic, so the ceiling had to be opened to install a cross beam between rafters to provide a support mount for the fan.
There were a few other surprises that made one wonder how the house passed inspection when it was built 15 years ago.
In the end the fans worked fine, the work was quality, and the wallboard ceiling was repaired so you could not tell it had been opened. The pair doing the work knew the work required and were friendly and personable. Turns I had some background in common with one of them.
My only criticism would be that occasionally they were a bit disorganized, such as: making multiple trips to the truck to get the occasional tool or electrical part instead of having their tools set and hardware on a cart; or, getting partway though a task and having to back up because they realized they missed a step. Hence, I gave them only a good rating instead of excellent.

I had french patio doors installed. It's very welcoming to have an individual that works with you as if he's known you for years. Right away, I felt very comfortable during the quote, and knew then, that he's the one that was doing the job for me. His caring, quality of work speaks for itself. I am satisfied with the work, and the effort that they put into the install. Must add, my wife is very hard to please, and she was quite happy. Happy wife, happy life.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't charge for estimates. Whenever possible we charge the lowest rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once onsite, it is important to evaluate the job in every way. As I was told years ago...there are 20 different ways to do most jobs and not one of them is wrong, just a personal preference of who it is doing the work, and your clients desired finished product . Cost is always a concern. So after a careful evaluation of job, we then discuss time frame to completion, and of course all that is involved...what to expect from start to finish. We try our best every time out to give as accurate a schedule outlook as possible. This includes pricing and work scope.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 plus years of on the job training under licensed contractors. Over ten years in the industry as business owner. Spearheading projects in one capacity or another. Scheduling, materials costs, labor and onsite completion. Additionally, contractors school for 2 years. After completing in class training and testing, ultimately becoming a General B licensed Building Contractor in California.
