- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We really do try and keep our pricing simple. If the job entails a square footage, we have a square footage rate. If not, we tend to charge by our hourly rate of $65. This of course in our industry is still pretty vague, so we do offer in home estimates for a better price. (supplies and material not included in hourly rate)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in the construction industry for over 20 years as a superintendent in the new home market. As times changed, personal friends and family asked for me to assist them with their personal home repairs. It just took off from there.
