Jeanie made our event so memorable. She was so much fun and engaged with the crowd. She played all of our requests and kept our wedding reception flowing smooth throughout the night. I would suggest Jeanie for your event over and over again, she does not disapoint. Also; she surprised us with an amazing video after the event, it included all of our guests dancing and having a blast and the important speeches of the nights and so much more. Jeanie was the absolute best DJ we could’ve found! We truly feel like we hit the jackpot with her. Having a destination wedding is not easy, communicating strictly through email and light phone conversations can leave you a little nervous with expectations. She only met our expectations but exceeded them. She consistently reached out to see if I needed any help picking music, gave lots of recommendations, and even though I slacked, she was very patient and always kind. For our reception, She was dressed beautifully, and kept the mood super sweet and loving the entire time… wearing nothing but a smile on her face. 5 stars!!!!

Beautiful voice and extremely musically talented! Jeanie was an amazing addition to our very intimate wedding ceremony. We had a quick destination wedding with an outdoor ceremony. As most people know, finding a DJ is tough but add in an outdoor location with little to no power outlets was another challenge. Thumbtack was the best site ever to help with finding and securing our vendors. Thankfully, Jeanie is a registered vendor on Thumbtack because she truly made our ceremony amazing. Our guests loved her signing, and she played our songs that had special meaning to us. Whenever we hire a professional, we want them to showcase their talents so everyone can enjoy. We hired Jeanie Carroll as our officiant and our DJ for our May wedding. She was amazing in both roles! As your typical overwhelmed bride, I was ecstatic when I learned that Jeanie would handle all wedding day events from toasts during dinner to first dances and cake cutting. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please visit my website where there is a wealth of wedding information and musical services for parties and corporate events. Many initial questions are answered there and afterwards we talk over all the possibilities by phone or by zoom. :-)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I love taking classes related to music, weddings, DJing, and teaching. I also attend big conferences like Wedding Merchant Business Academy in Las Vegas and Cabaret workshops in Chicago, St Louis and Paris, France to improve on other musical abilities as well!
