FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a 10% discount to active duty, veterans, first responders, teachers, nurses and seniors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When my clients contact me I let them know I offer free, in-person, quotes with no pressure to buy. I want my clients to not feel stressed or anxious about our visit. Upon arrival, I ask what kind of problem they are having. Then I perform an inspection of the door and motor. Afterwards I explain the issue in detail, and I provide both repair & replacement options. If a client agrees to allow me to fix the issue I am almost always able to repair / replace the defective part/s on the spot. If the client simply wants a quote then I provide a written quote which includes price & warranty terms. We then shake hands and kindly say goodbye.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of experience in overhead door and motor repair, installation and replacement. I worked for two other major garage door companies in Las Vegas prior to starting my own company. One of my former overhead door employers specialized in custom door installs for builders like Blue Heron. I was a nuclear weapons specialist with 20th Air Force Space Command. I was also quality assurance at an armoring facility that had contracts with the Department of Defense. I have an education in Machine Technology and Munitions Systems Technology.
