- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With the work I love to do and love learn, I like to have a mind set of what my father used to say about his career. With my profession, I’m in school everyday for the work I do ever since I first started going to class by true experience working hard in every job is another day of school with a graduation date that never arrives, I take every job everything I do I take as more and more learning experience with the school of hard knocks. (I’m sure someone reading this goes to this school as well)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was kid I was truly fascinated by my fathers career witch was concrete, I always have really enjoyed the whole construction industry. It felt as a passion I had inside that made me want to become a very smart dedicated professional worker in the construction industry, the only problem I had is figuring out eventually what part exactly of this trade I had a hot spot in, growing up always being around my father building things at home from shoe racks to panel walls to an entire bedroom and really just always remodeling things doing everything that I could ever come to mind and as I was little growing up I was always somehow someway somewhere always trying to fix things build and creat things and then once I got into high school here in Las Vegas at green valley high school I signed up to be in wood shop and in about half way threw my first year being in that class my wood shop teacher saw one very special talent I had that needed just a little guidance and by my second year in high in high school I got right into a custom wood shop J Weisman and since then I have set a goal to be the best I can be in every little thing possible that will come my way and I truly seem to absolutely love everything I ever do as being a great skillful handyman with a wood work specialty
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently built a custom made door as posted on profile, this job here had me very fond of it because I believe that the doors I made are very beautiful looking large doors, I truly love the miters that run along down the middle and to build both doors took about 11 days from start to finish including instal
