As a trainer I strive to inspire my clients to transform their body's and life through physical activity and nutritional guidance. I like to connect with my clients to make the workouts fun and exciting. Most important I'm here to help my clients achieve their fitness goals. By specializing in: -Strength Training -Weight Loss -Small Group Training -Core/Abs -Pilates -Stress-Reducing sessions -Exercise Prescriptions -Flexibility "I have certainly enjoyed my time here in your wonderful city. With that said, I have enjoyed my first several months of retirement like I never thought possible. After 32 years teaching school, I could not be happier with my new life that has included my family, old friends and now lots of new friends here. I will go one step further, the best thing that I have done for myself since I have retired is to make a real commitment to my health and fitness through the Las Vegas Athletic Club and with YOU as my personal trainer. We worked together three months. During this time I could not have asked for a more committed trainer. You were always enthusiastic and that was contagious. I had not been in a gym for fifteen years and I was a bit nervous. I actually wondered if I was too old to really get back in shape. I felt you evaluated me where I was at and what my fitness goals were and developed a plan to help me achieve those goals. Honestly, I can say, I feel so much better than I did just three short months ago. You are extremely knowledgeable with stretching exercises, upper body and lower body routines that included machines and free weights that were precisely tailored to my abilities. There is no doubt that I will continue working out as it has become part of my life. In many ways Laura, you have changed my life showing me how to become more fit and healthy!"For that I will forever be grateful. Thanks! Mark Spencer
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
"Statistics show that out of all exercisers, only 25% get the results they are looking for. Out of those people who do get results, 90% used a Personal Trainer (becompetitivefitness.com)". When you let your personal trainer know your goals, they will work with you to design an exercise program that will be safe; everybody is different and what is safe for someone else may not be safe for you. Also, many exercises that require heavy weights should only be attempted with a partner...save these exercises for your personal training sessions. Over-training is a common mistake made by exercisers new and old; a personal trainer will make sure your workouts are difficult and safe, maximizing your potential development.
