When there was an issue, someone would be coming to check up that day or the following day. The transformation of the kitchen was great, and we were glad we were able to remove the wall and separation of the rooms into an open floorplan. He was incredibly responsive and came out to our house the day after I initially reached out. I had a good idea of what I was looking for, but Samuel was extremely helpful in finalizing the design, selecting materials, and making sure I would be happy with the final product. The day after coming to our home, he sent over a design and price. A week later, he and his team were back for the install. The project went so well we immediately decided to have custom closet solutions work on two other areas of our home (linen closet and laundry)! While these were smaller projects, they turned out to be a bit more complicated given the tighter working spaces. The upfront process was the same, we went from design to install in about a week. We had some issues with our initial measurements, but Samuel immediately made it right and ordered a smaller cabinet for the laundry. He was back a few days later to finish the job and we couldn't be happier. If you are looking to add cabinetry to your home, Samuel is your guy! I won't look anywhere else for any future projects. The finished project was amazing. There was so much work that needed to get done, and while it took time because of the flooring that had shipping issues outside of Terry's control, we were so thankful that he and Above the Ceiling completed the project in such a 1st class manner. Elena and Alejandro, wife and husband, are a great match as contractors. Elena sees the big picture and Alejandro is detailed. Of all the contractors that I interviewed for my kitchen project, Alejandro was the only one who took measurements and offered suggestions and asked questions that were more detailed. Explained the advantages and disadvantages of moving the plumbing, which my measurement person had also done earlier. Made sure that my electrical was up to code and added an extra one along with the extra lighting switch. I was also able to use the old kitchen cabinet elsewhere in the condo by installing one in the laundry room. I may have paid a little bit more, but I have a leveled beautiful eye catching kitchen with appliances and cabinets from IKEA. Plus a more open concept condo with the dropping of the breakfast bar. They also made sure that proper building codes were met. They actually saved me money by installing the cabinets a little differently along with the lighting and electrical. The photos show the progression. The flooring for the condo was installed by a different flooring contractor.
