My husband & I woke up to a ton of water under our kitchen sink. We could tell it was coming from the garbage disposal. Needless to say we were VERY appreciative of the fact that J could come that day to help us out. He showed up promptly on time, took a look, left to go get a replacement garbage disposal & got the job done very efficiently. We will definitely call him again with any home repair needs & would highly recommend him to anyone else who needs work done!
Installed new kitchen sink and faucets. I went from stainless steel to copper. Jason gave me a good fair price, showed up on time and did an excellent job. Would and will definitely recommend him. Jerry Garcia
Did a remodel for me with new granite counters in kitchen, repainted entire interior - ceilings, cabinets, walls & trim, replaced flooring & some lighting. Great job, attention to detail and was very fairly priced. Would highly recommend. Will post pictures once job is totally finished (minor add'l scope left).
I hired Scott to install my tile on kitchen wall... He started the same day and finished the next day... Excellent job and very professional!! I would recommend him to anyone!
Assembly of kitchen table and four chairs.
We recently had our house painted by HK Paint Drywall. Chris, the owner, was very professional and patient. He offered great ideas and was receptive to ours. They were on time and finished in a timely manner. Chris kept us updated every step of the way from start to finish. The house looked so good, we also had him paint our kitchen cabinets and those came out great too. I would definitely recommend HK for any of your painting needs.
I accepted Gil's proposal based on the fact that he mentioned he had no overhead, like the bigger, more corporate companies, and therefore could be more fairly priced around my budget. I was very specific about everything I wanted to do, during our meeting, and I even wrote down an agreement with a list of everything I expected. I mentioned that I would like to physically go along with him to buy paints and baseboards, when it came time. We agreed on 30% upfront and 70% upon proper completion of all listed work. I'll list my experiences by positives and negatives: -Positives: Gil is quick to respond to messages and texts, he offered ideas as to how we could tackle the project. He's got a gentle soul, and he's a nice and respectful person. Our agreement in summary: Pop corn removal/texture application, includes planning, equipment, materials, area prep, roll/finish texture (Orange Peel) Every ceiling removed of pop corn. Wallpaper Removal/Glass removal. Includes everything plus setup and cleanup. Interior House Painting, scrape, sand, patch holes, defects, roll/spray or brush all walls, and all ceilings removed of wallpaper. Everything included, except cost of paint (which we were going to buy together) Knocking down 2 walls, to open up the rooms (Kitchen and livingroom/diningroom installing baseboards around the whole house. I gave him 30% as agreed. The first issue is, some wallpapers weren't removedas agreed, in the dining room, they were painted over instead, and when i realized this, I brought it up to Gil. He did rectify the issue, but I was sore at the fact that it wasn't done properly the first time around. The kitchen wall wasn't torn down and opened as I requested, and Gil mentioned that there was a load bearing issue. I feel others have done this successfully, and he should have been able to offer a solution, instead, we turned it into a window/bar situation, (which added costs, because now I had to hire someone else to make a bar, and i wasn't given a break on the price) The job took a lot longer than I was promised. I Hired gil on May 5th, and it wasn't completed until around the 19th. The master bedroom wasn't all done to satisfaction, because of some unforeseen circumstances, and all the mirrors which I'd mentioned to be disposed off, are still in my garage, and I believe Gil has left it up to me to dispose of them, which wasn't our agreement The spray painting was good enough, but every single door frame has paint unevenly bleeding into its edges. I don't feel proper prep time was dedicated to the edges and lines. I've had to hire someone else to come paint the frames, to clean them up. The wallpaper removal was very impressive, and I bet time consuming. He removed all the wallpaper as requested, the only issue I see with that is, the surface wasn't smoothed out properly, and some areas on the wall especially towards the floor, are a little rough. Altogether, commendable work. The baseboards weren't painted before installation, and I wasn't informed that this would make it difficult to paint, in the future. Having hired someone else to do the painting, it costs so much more. The installation was fantastic, everything fits, and everything is smooth, and properly caulked and ready for painting. I was never told when the paints were bought, yet, i had to reimburse for the purchases, and I still haven't found any of the cans. -The closets weren't prepped properly, and have uneven paint lines going to them, and at the corners and edges, the pop corn texture still shows. I think if they were not going to paint the closets, they should have covered it properly. Although some things were left in less than good condition, for the most part, everything was done beautifully, we didn't go over my budget, but we also took short cuts on some things that were agreed, mostly because I felt they took a little longer than I'd hoped, and by the end of it all, I was just ready for them to be done, so I could get back to my life. Overall, I'm satisfied with the job that was done, for the budget.
We hired Jimmy to put up a backsplash in our kitchen. I could not be happier with the entire experience. He worked around my husband and my crazy schedules to get the job complete, and was very easy to work with. He was also very responsive to all of the questions that I had. But most importantly, the backsplash turned out GORGEOUS. It is absolutely perfect, you can tell he takes great pride in his work. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Great work on our kitchen cabinet installation. Careful and clean work. Expert installer.
Matt has done several projects for me and I have been completely satisfied with his work. His carpentry work is excellent. He built a 3 piece window seat in my kitchen nook. After that major project I called him back for additional work. He repaired all of my maple captains chairs that I have had for over 30 years. He hung new kitchen and bathroom lights and installed cabinets and shelves in my garage. Matt did some minor repairs including, repairing 2 doors and installing new hardware in my bathrooms and kitchen. He also hung my Christmas lights, took special care to wrap the strips, and ensured no cords were on the lawn. Great job! I think the one thing that most impressed me about Matt was the time I asked him about another job I needed done, and he told me that was not something he handled. He is totally honest about what he can do and will advise you to seek help outside his expertise. Matt is very professional, he arrives on time, meets his deadlines, and is all about meeting and/or exceeding his client expectations. I would highly recommend him.
Mike was very pleasant to work with and did a great job hanging pictures installing new knobs in our kitchen and bathroom fixtures throughout the house, quick and professional ...highly recommended!
Rudy was very professional and knowledgeable. He walked me through step by step of what are needed to repaint my bathrooms and bedroom in details. His hired painter Steve was excellent. He was on time as scheduled. Steve was very courteous and he and another painter did an excellent job. They cleaned up after they were done and put everything back in place.
I started using Pamela's services about 8 years ago. I own several rental/vacation properties in town. She has stripped and restained cabinets, chose paint colors and then painted (all four of the interiors of my houses, & exterior of my 2 story 3000 SF house), chose wallpaper, granite, flooring, hardware, fixtures, drawn remodel plans, oversaw all plumbing & electrical work, & worked with my contractor for larger projects. She personally tiled my kitchen counters with Galaxy granite and refaced my fireplace to match. She also installed a glass backsplash, & gave my kitchen the wow it needed on a tight budget! I have been impressed with her hands on capabilities and knowledge. Pamela has a keen eye for picking colors, flooring, hardware, counters, styles, etc. Her ability to understand what people want is uncanny: She can see the forest through the trees. She can design a space that not only keeps pace with current style trends but keep it unique enough to not just be another carbon-copy. My last property took the cake. She fully furnished my entire 4 bedroom vacation rental including all linens, kitchen appliances, cooking supplies., beds, furniture, and all items needed to be a fully functional vacation rental & staged everything by herself. It bears mentioning that I give her a very tight and strict budget, and she always finds a way to make everything look expensive & sticks to the budget I've set. I never have to lift a finger when I hire Pamela. This last job she did prompted me to write about my experiences the past eight years (& seeing some pictures on her profile of work she's done for me throughout the years). My guests always comment on the house and I can only say "thank you, Pamela did it" She has great vision, work ethic, and will treat you right. I recommend her services fully.
We had our kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities updated by Signature Stone and I couldn't be happier. The owner, Mike, is extremely professional and patient with me making my selection for the countertops I wanted. He answered all my questions and was very clear on the different choices/cuts I could have as far as how the finished product would look. He does amazing work and I would recommend his services to all friends and family!!!
We had Robert do a whole house remodel. M&R services repaired Sheetrock damage in the home, painted the ceilings, walls, closet, garage. They installed baseboards, hardwood flooring (not laminate,) tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, and carpeting in the bedrooms. They also did an epoxy flooring in the garage. An extended set of double crown molding was installed. Six ceiling fans were installed and light fixtures throughout the house were updated. An evaporative cooling unit was installed in the garage. Kitchen cabinets were replaced with lights mounted underneath. I love the way the work was completed. Robert and his crew were polite and helpful in explaining the process. They were always on the lookout for small things which can hold up the process. I will utilize Robert and his crew on my next home project.
Jeremy came and installed the hardware for my cabinets in thr kitchen. He was ontime, professional and very polite. It was a breath of fresh air to find a handy man like him. The job was done beautifully and immediately my husband and I thought of all the many things we could hire him for. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. Although the hardware came with screws, he recommended using longer ones for the drawers and even when to Home Depot to purchase them. We highly recommend Jeremy!
Peter did a fabulas job on my bathroom and kitchen remodel. Punctual, clean and certainly a guy who I would hire again. I love my kitchen and my bathroom it is even better then I imagined!
Carter, helped me with an extensive remodel of my home in 2016. His work included upgrades and installation of a complete kitchen plumbing package, mosaic tile kitchen backsplash, two new bath vanities including tile backsplashes and tile floors, new decorative baseboard throughout the home, laminate flooring throughout, new water heater, etc. I have used Carter for smaller repair projects subsequent to the remodel and he always does great work, ARRIVES ON TIME, cleans up before he leaves, and pays attention to detail.
Tile backsplash and wrap around tile under cabinets along wall in kitchen. David did a good job at finish the job I wanted done on time. He was able to fit me into his schedule and worked continually to get the job done. He also made sure to clean up after he worked each day. I would work with David on future projects I may need done in my home.
Frank gave me a fair quote on installing tile in my kitchen. I was impressed with his quality of work and contracted him to completely gut & remodel my 20 year old bathroom. The demolition consisted of 3 nasty layers of linoleum, removing fiberglass tub/shower and removing tiolet. After six previous bids/quotes that were outrageous and expected 50% down before even beginning any work, I'm glad I chose Hansen Construction, for the following reasons: Was on time & worked full days Kept work area clean & protected carpet & surroundings Did not waste expensive materials Gave excellent decorative concepts & ideas Flexible & patient the couple of times the plan changed Picked up & delivered heavy supplies Completed pedestal sink, tiolet, bathtub plumbing, drywall, detailed tile & mosiac pieces, light install & painted. My remodel turned out to be more than I expected. Hire with Confidence!!!
