Introduction: POP! Events is a full service event planning and design company founded in 2019 by Layden Thomas. With a 7 year background in stage management and technical theater, I have found a love of creating & managing events that POP! Just like a theatrical production events/weddings have many elements that need to come together to run smoothly (lights, sounds, lighting --- flowers, photos, music, etc.) and I am here to make that happen. I also offer custom event decor such as: cake toppers, balloons bouquets, balloon mosaics, welcome signs and more.

I was on the market looking for an event planner and came across POP Events! From the beginning Layden was very responsive and attentive. I only knew I wanted a unicorn theme. Layden was able to ask the right questions to have a better understanding of the colors I wanted and what not. She provide a drawn out layout of what she had come up. It was detailed and provided the balloon arch, tables, centerpieces, welcome sign, etc. Her attention to detail is exceptional. The setup was fast and she was professional. It turned out exactly as what was on paper. It was beautiful —I couldn’t been any happier. We got lots of compliments too! If you are looking for an event planner, no matter how small the event, I highly recommend reaching out to Layden, POP Events.

Pop Events made my 15 year olds birthday so special! We almost cancelled twice because the party was getting smaller and smaller thanks to COVID and it being at a hotel suite. Layden was amazing and assured me she would help make my daughters day memorable, even if it was just 1 friend and our family. My daughters and their friend went down to swim and by the time they came back the Pop Events team transformed our suite to match my daughters personality. I was amazed how quickly they worked, I’m so glad I didn’t cancel!! They made it so easy and I don’t know if I will ever plan a party on my own again. They definitely took all the stress away and I got to actually enjoy the day.

I can work with the budget you have set for your event, big or small!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you have reached regarding your event, I'd love to chat with you via phone (Zoom/Facetime also an option) to be able to better understand your event needs, budget and ideas. From there, I take what we discussed and create a digital mockup (if need be) of what we spoke about to make sure we are on the same page.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients booking for kids & adult birthday parties, business launches, baby & bridal showers, pop-up markets, church celebrations and more!
