- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As of 2016, my rates for instruction are $25 per half hour, $37.50 for 45 minutes and $50 for an hour. My performance rates are priced based on time and travel requirements, as well as the requested configuration of instrumentation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important to evaluate each student and develop a lesson plan that suits their individual need. For performing, I identify as much information as I can about the demographics of the intended audience and build a set list accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught piano and guitar since 1995. I have experience in private and group lessons. I studied music from the time I was 3 years old and play multiple instruments. I have performed with orchestras, classic rock, jazz, country, disco and contemporary bands for decades, as well as a duo with a guitarist and as a solo act on keys and acoustic guitar.
