Joe Powell Piano Tuning and Repair

I have over 30 Years experience working on old and new instruments. I have been a professional piano technician since 1992. I learned the trade while getting my B.S. in music from USC. I do all repair and rebuilding, including player pianos. Older and more difficult pianos are my specialty! I fix mechanical problems others have left behind. Pianos which are 1/2 step or more flat (not tuned in years) will be tuned at A440-442, so they can settle before the next tuning. A442 is the RIAA standard. - I have machine shop tools, and I manufacture parts for antiques. - I have a B.S. from USC in Music Technology. - I worked for Music World in Las Vegas starting in 1998. I repaired all the trade-ins, and did customer service on the new pianos for the store until the owner retired in 2011. I currently work for Kim's Piano. Kim's does sell to customers in Nevada, and they are an outstanding dealer. -I do service rural areas outside of Clark county.
