Introduction: I have been a professional piano technician since 1992. I have a B.S. from USC in Music Technology. I worked for Music World repairing all the trade-ins and did customer service for Don until he retired in 2011, and I am now independent. Difficult pianos are my specialty!

I’m sorry for the late review. Joe did a very good job on our piano, now the piano sounds awesome and the more I’m inspired to play the piano. Our friends have noticed the difference of the sound from before. I would ask Joe again to tune the piano when it’s time. I would recommend him.

Joe Powell is a skilled piano technician who serviced my 55 year old Chickering grand (5'8.5") piano which had been neglected for over 30 years. Joe serviced, lubricated, cleaned and tuned (twice) the piano. The piano now plays and sounds almost new. Joe included a warranty on his work which includes $25 visits for any future problems that may arise. In that event , I will include another evaluation. Submitted by DRL

Joe went above and beyond to inspect, repair and tune our piano we found for free. We went from having a few “dead” keys to a full working, tuned piano. Even our dog loved him! He loves his work and isn’t happy until you are.

Wow! Joe is the real deal! THIS is how you get a piano tuned! Joe was punctual, honest, professional! He is a master of his craft. Look no further.
