Amy is a wonderful tutor. My first grader struggles with the foundations of reading and is apprehensive to help from my husband or I. Amy has a unique and fun approach where my daughter didn't even realize she was 'doing work'. Her reading games make reading fun. Amy is so sweet and patient. We are so lucky we found her! Amy is a pro. My daughter was so engaged. She was challenged, and had a blast. She had a huge leap in ability and confidence after each and every lesson with Amy! She used the short time together so well. My child was reading nearly the entire time. Can't recommend her enough.

Amy has been tutoring my 7 year old son for the last 5 months and the progress he has made is unbelievable. When he first began his lessons he didn't care to read at all, in fact he avoided it, and he really struggled. Since having these one-on-one lessons with Amy his confidence has grown and he is actually reading and enjoying it. He has learned so much in such a short time.The zoom lessons make it so convenient for me since we don't have to leave our home. I appreciate that Amy jumps right into the lessons and is very efficient with her time, yet she has still connected with my son and built a relationship. He trusts her and really enjoys the lessons.Amy stepped in when we didn't know how else to help our son with his reading. She is patient, kind and an excellent reading teacher. Our pricing depends on lesson frequency and the type of support your child needs. We’re happy to discuss options during the discovery call and recommend a plan that fits your learner’s goals. There are no hidden fees, and we’ll always be clear about pricing before lessons begin.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a brief discovery call to learn more about your child’s needs and to make sure we’re a good fit. From there, we match your child with a tutor who we believe will be a strong fit for their personality and academic needs. Once the match is made, lessons can begin and we’ll adjust support as needed along the way!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors hold education degrees and are licensed educators. They also have training and experience in the Science of Reading and structured literacy—evidence-based approaches that help students build strong, lasting reading skills.
