I'm also a Water Treatment Specialist, CPO certified, along with many other certifications as well. 💎My focus has always been quality, and I have never cut corners even if it takes more time. 💎I received a state of Nevada Journeyman Plumbers License in the earlier 1990’s, and I have received multiple licenses, certifications, and continued education throughout my career. I do not perform any construction, remodeling, or any work that requires a building permit. I am not a contractor. 🇺🇸As a plumber I have always tried to only use American made parts whenever possible, because they tend to last longer, and are more reliable.🇺🇸 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 🚨Water Treatment information that may help if your looking into purchasing a whole house filtration system for your homes plumbing system.🚨 💧If your looking for a system to treat the incoming water to your home, a good carbon system is the best to start with, it will protect a water softener as well. An Activated Carbon unit will remove organic material, but what it's best at is removing chlorine. While the chlorine in drinking water does have side effects, it's not necessarily dangerous in and of itself, but chlorine can react with organics in water to produce disinfection byproducts (DBP) that could be dangerous. Washing or swimming in water that contains chlorine can lead to dry skin and hair, and cause burning in the eyes. Many people also dislike the taste and smell of chlorinated water as well. 💦The good news is that you can purchase a great quality American made granular activated carbon unit online starting at $299.00 that could treat your whole home maintenance free for 10 years or more. I have no connections with any of these companies, I only share what I have come to know through experience, as American name brand units I know to be of great quality, and through research at great prices. The problem is some people don’t know what to purchase or the costs, get taken advantage of, and end up spending $1000 + on equipment that realistically cost $200-$300!!💦 💧There's no question that adding chlorine in drinking water has saved many, many lives. Cholera and typhoid were two of the leading causes of death in the U.S. in the 19th Century, and both were nearly wiped out after municipalities started putting chlorine in water. Once the water has reached your home, however, the chlorine has done its job and needs to be removed - along with any byproducts. 💧Most people prefer to remove chlorine from water before drinking it to improve the taste and smell if for no other reason. Even at levels as low as 0.5 parts per million (ppm), it can be a problem in water used for drinking or bathing. Swimming pools, by comparison, may have a level of 2.0 to 3.0 ppm. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 🚨Well Known Editorials: 🚨 🚱"Showering is suspected as the primary cause of elevated levels of chloroform in nearly every home because of the chlorine in the water." - DR. LANCE WALLACE - U.S.E.P.A. 🚱"A long hot shower can be dangerous. The toxic chemicals are inhaled in high concentrations." - Dr. John Andelman - BOTTOM LINE 🚱"Skin absorption of contaminant has been underestimated and ingestion may not constitute the sole or even primary route of exposure." - Dr. Halina Brown - AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PUBLIC HEALTH 🚱"Showers - and to a lesser extent baths - lead to a greater exposure to toxic chemicals contained in drinking water supplies than does drinking the water." - Ian Anderson - NEW SCIENTIST 🚱"Drinking chlorinated water may double the risk of bladder cancer, which strikes 400, 000 people a year." - IS YOUR WATER SAFE? - U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 🚨Alkaline Water Scam: 🚨 💧If you drink alkaline water all the time, you could raise the alkalinity of your stomach, which will buffer your stomach’s acidity and impair your ability to digest food, as low stomach acid is one of the most common causes of ulcers. This can open the door for parasites in your small intestine, and your protein digestion may suffer. It also means you’ll get less minerals and nutrients over time – in fact, some of these health effects can already be seen in hardcore alkaline water drinkers. Alkalinity is also potentially a problem because it is antibacterial, so it could potentially disrupt the balance of your body’s beneficial bacteria. 💧 Dr. Mercola writes this: What you want is pure water – water that is clean, balanced, and healthful, neither too alkaline nor too acidic. Ideally, the pH of your water should be somewhere between 6 and 8. And some of the most healthful waters in the world – that which emerge from mountain springs – are actually acidic in the range of 6.5 and would absolutely be my preference if it were readily available. This mountain spring water is ‘structured’ in a way that is not well understood. 💧Most of us do not have “mountain spring water” and even if we did, someone might contaminate it with something toxic. Happily, there is a solution. Reverse Osmosis removes the largest spectrum of contaminants of any water treatment process and the pH is generally in that 6.5 range. I am of the opinion that there is no healthier water on the planet that is readily available like RO water. It’s not a prefect process or product, but it’s closer to what your body needs than alkaline water. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 🚨Facts on Bottled Water: 🚨 💧More than one-third of bottled water brands violate their industry’s standards for water quality. This surprising fact comes from a study conducted by the NRDC, which concluded that 33% of tested bottled water violated enforced state standards or exceeded microbiological purity guidelines. 💧Over 25 percent of bottled water is simply tap water – in a bottle. Many bottled water brands position their water as high-quality water drawn from pristine mountain lakes or rivers, but more than one-fourth of all bottled water is tap water from local municipalities, subject to the same possibility of contamination. 🙂 Thank You for Reading and Have a Great Day 🙂

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A lot of my certifications are shown in my pictures

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

The year was 1987 when I started Plumbing in Los Angeles after meeting a friend who was a Plumber. After riding with him and helping him on jobs I found I also enjoyed meeting people and helping them with Plumbing issues, and after a vast amount training, certifications, and moving to Las Vegas in 1994, I have continued to enjoy the original reasons I started this Trade to this day.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important advice I would give is to make sure the person has the education and the experience to perform the work that's needed. The right person must have a sense of pride in their work as well, and care about quality.
