I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship I received. I had two doors installed, where there were none before. One to my bathroom and one to my Den. Due to my walls being thick the doors had to be custom made. Pre-hung doors would not work. Fegiel made sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. Henry completed the carpentry and painting, he was wonderful. There was also a gentleman that was a specialist at texture, for the new walls. The transition is seamless. It looks like the doors were always there. They worked around our schedules. I am so happy with the outcome. I will definitely use Majestic Renovations on my next project.

Nostalgic Maintenance

This man came to my house, told me he needed to check the doors that he was gonna install. He did that after checking the bathrooms, then placed one of the GLASS doors in the floor of the garage. Then he told me he needed a drill to do the job, left and never came back. My wife almost broke the glass door with her car when she arrived from shopping. I hope nothing bad happened to him, but if it didnt it means that this handyman is not reliable, utterly irresponsible. Will not contact again.

He assessed the required work made a quick Home Depot run and returned with needed parts in a very timely manner. My door was repaired and could open/close again. Additionally, he replaced my high ceiling, air filters and installed a wall mount TV rack for a bedroom. It was sturdy work, in an efficient timeline, reasonably priced. I would hire him again!

This is the work Bryan did to my house. Before hiring him, we specifically asked if he knew how to install a door into an opening, and he confidently claimed he knew how to do drywall and handle the entire job. The project took 3 days to complete. The first 2 days he only worked about 2 hours each day, and on the 3rd day around 7 hours. His attitude completely changed after we refused to let him take the brand-new light fixture he removed while installing ceiling fans. When I asked him if he could fix the side issues and poor finishing work, he said there was “no way to fix it,” which clearly showed he did not know what he was doing. He also said he would buy all the materials, including a door stopper, but I later noticed from previous photos that he had simply removed one of my existing door stoppers and acted as if he had installed a new one for the new door. On top of that, he damaged the brand-new carpet in our brand-new home. He was messy, slammed doors, did not clean up after himself, and even used our sink to wash his hands, leaving paint and drywall residue all over it. Overall, it was very stressful working with him. Looking at the final result, I honestly have to ask if he is proud of this work.

OK, I've been using Thumbtack for a while and have had both good and bad experiences. I have to say, my experience with Ronn was PHENOMENAL! First off, he was extremely good at communication, answering my request for bids quickly. His price was inline with most others (though one guy quoted me more than double everyone else) and then on top of that gave me a Veteran's discount! As for the work, they were timely, professional and did a great job (by the way, on a Sunday). One company told me it would take 6-7 hours to replace a patio door with French doors. Ron got this done in THREE hours AND installed a new front door. That's busting ass in my book! What Ronn didn't know is I also invest in real estate and occasionally need work there too. Guess who'll be getting more work from me. Thanks for making us very happy!
