I had good friends in town and we didn't want to do the whole strip dinning experience. Per recommendation of a good friend I decided to hire a personal chef. From the beginning I felt the passion that Chef Curtis puts into his work. We discussed different menu ideas and I had mentioned to him that I had a couple of bottles of Spanish wine that I had been waiting for a special occasion to bring out and this was the night! Chef Curtis designed a custom Spanish tapas menu for us that he paired with my bottles of wine and let me just say WOW! He cooked every item course by course and the presentation of each dish was amazing. I loved how he described each dish or shared a little story about it as he set it on the table. I liked that worked at a perfect pace with us since we were drinking and enjoying great conversation. Each course wasn't just beautiful, the combination of flavors exceeded the beauty of each dish. From the Patatas Bravas with a spicy tomato sauce and garlic aioli to the Pan Seared Scallops with romesco sauce and everything in between, I loved every bite! Each course left me with the anticipation and excitement of what was to come. I can honestly say that Chef Curtis is someone who I can truly see that cooking is his passion; the professionalism and care that he puts into his work is like no other. He made this night an amazing and very memorable experience, and I would book him again in a heartbeat!!!Aug 31, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?As far as quotes and what our guests ranges are, it really just depends on the ingredients and methods of preparation (labor) which would all be discussed if need be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?At the end of the day, we want to make sure our customers are happy. After we are hired, we will set up a meet wether it's in person or over the phone to discuss what our customer REALLY want. because we understand that sometimes this platform isn't specific enough, we want to ensure our customers are getting what they are paying for and we go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are both graduates of the French Culinary Institute "Le Cordon Bleu." Myself graduating witth high honors. Our research and education is and has always been hands on. We are constantly researching old and modern recipies of many different cuisines along with new techniques, and the use of new equipment. While staying in trend, we're also seeking to start new ones.
