- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very simple. I charge a Chef's fee + Groceries for all Personal Chef services and I charge an all inclusive per head fee for dinner parties and small events. The per head fee includes all of the travel, shopping, groceries, cooking, cleanup, and my Sous Chef. There are no hidden/extra fees.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
A majority of my work is providing an in-home Personal Chef service to my clients. I do all of the menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning so that my clients can have healthy and made from scratch meals to get them through their busy weeks. I also do a lot of dinner parties and small events, from a Pork Belly themed birthday party, to a 5 course Vegan dinner, to a Spanish Paella Party for up to 70 people. I am also an instructor at a local Culinary school in Reno and teach hands-on cooking classes that are super fun, we even pour you a glass of wine at the end of the night.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you connect with the Chef, as they are providing much more than just food. Chefs provide an experience and nourishment for you and your family and you have to trust them and connect with them to allow them into your home.
