• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  I provide straightforward, competitive pricing and fixed quotes when the scope is clear. Pricing depends on the work, materials, and travel. If you have several tasks for the same visit, I can often price them together. For jobs using customer-provided parts, please confirm they’re complete and compatible before the appointment. If missing, incorrect, or defective parts prevent the scheduled work, a minimum $50 service and travel charge may apply.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  I start by reviewing the details of your project, including photos, measurements, product links or instructions when applicable. I’ll confirm the scope of work, location, materials or supplies needed, and any other important details before getting started. Once I understand the project, I’ll provide pricing and an estimated completion time. I communicate clearly, arrive prepared, and keep the work area organized throughout the project.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  My background includes more than 30 years of hands-on home projects, woodworking, furniture assembly, painting, and repairs. More recently, I’ve completed furniture builds, fitness equipment assembly, door repairs, installations, and other projects for customers in the Reno and Tahoe area. I take time to understand the instructions and the condition of the work area before starting, and I bring in help when a project calls for it.
