What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge less than Angi, IKEA, Wayfair and Walmart for assembly of items. I will usually apply a discount if I am building tow similar items. For example, a client asks for two beds to be built; i will charge $75 for the first bed and $65 for the second one.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will reply within 30 minutes of receiving a DIrect Lead. I will include my *********** on the thumbtack reply. I will also call and text the customer to verify exactly what they need done. I do not want any surprises when I arrive at their home. For example; a customer states they want a bed built. But I arrive and the bed is a Murphy Bed. Murphy Beds are not a normal bed assembly, they take two people and at least 5-6 hours to assemble.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building doing woodworking for over 30 years. I built my home in the Virginia Highlands. I do woodworking now, building furniture items to sell and for family and friends.
