Booked The Saffron Table again for a company lunch event yesterday, and once again, they were a hit! The food was amazing, especially the beef sausage rolls and tacos, which everyone loved. The rice, however, was the real standout for me. It’s so soft, packed with flavor, and practically melts in your mouth.
And of course, their signature dessert pudding is always a must-have. It’s honestly one of the main reasons we keep coming back.
I originally found them on a different booking platform and have been booking with them ever since. The only minor hiccup with the Thumbtack app, was I had trouble locating guest details, which made it a bit tricky to make adjustments. With a few last-minute guest additions, I sent a quick text to Rob the night before, and he was super responsive—helping us add a few more people without any hassle at all.
Definitely recommend The Saffron Table—they’ve consistently been great, and this event was no exception!

With so many options and such a great variety of cuisines, I couldn’t scroll past The Saffron Table — and I’m so glad I didn’t. Highly recommend trying the platters and their signature pudding.
I actually had a similar dessert in Italy once and never thought I’d come across it again!
