I’m Peter Traunmueller, a professional drummer and dedicated educator with more than 25 years of experience performing, recording, and teaching across a wide range of musical styles. I hold performance and pedagogy degrees from the Anton Bruckner University, and I’ve spent my career helping students of all ages finding joy and growing as drummers.

My Teaching Approach
I believe that everyone can thrive on the drums with the right guidance. My lessons combine structure, positivity, and a student-centered approach. I work closely with kids, teens, and adults in private studios, music schools, and workshops—and I’ve led masterclasses in the U.S. and internationally.
You’ll receive a rich library of learning materials, including sheet music, play-alongs, books, and audio tracks, so you always have clear tools for progress.
