I started working with John virtually due to the COVID restrictions on gym availability. I don't have a lot of equipment at home but with some dumbbells and bands John has been giving me workouts that make me feel just as challenged as I would be if I were in a gym. While we all have the option of walking or running outdoors, I really appreciate being able to keep a routine of resistance training at home through this time.Jun 30, 2020
John and I have been working together for 6 months. I've worked with other trainers before with decent success, but I felt that after a little while it just became a routine and I wasn't moving forward. John always tries to keep me moving forward and I feel like he genuinely cares that I improve. He knows how to push just enough to make me work hard without feeling beat up. He always encourages me and it honestly makes me want to work harder.Jan 8, 2020
John is an extremely knowledgeable trainer. He has helped me with perfecting my squat, have a better connection with my core and body. John is a trainer’s trainer and I would still have low back pain if it wasn’t for him.Sep 10, 2019
John is awesome! Extremely knowledgeable (and always learning more), adaptable, but results-driven. Always also makes me feel comfortable, but knows when to (healthily) push. A combination of both easy-going and focused that is ideal in a trainer.Aug 14, 2018
John is an excellent trainer! He is patient, takes his time showing you how to properly position for all exercises, and aims for slow but steady gains. He never overwhelms you with the intensity of his exercises, but gradually builds up your confidence and your strength. He varies his exercises to incorporate both strength building and cardio endurance, as well as between upper body, lower body, and full-body routines. He is very knowledgable about diet, and he always checks up on what I've been eating and how much sleep I've been getting. He's also a very nice guy! And very smart. If you are like me, not only will you, within a month or so, see improvements in your physical abilities, but you will look forward to spending time with him.Nov 22, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My fee is inclusive of any gym and travel costs. In certain situations where there is no fee I may be able to offer a slight discount. Feel free to message. I offer discounts on packages as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we discuss goals, lifestyle and health with regard to training, and past health and training history. After some assessments, I communicate where they stand and what my plan would be for helping them achieve their goals both from an exercise, lifestyle, and nutritional perspective. We then work out some short term goals to help us get there.
