Introduction
I have witnessed fitness change so many lives from the inside out. It may seem silly, but my clients have always seemed like a part of my family. To be honest, helping others truly helps me. It brings me so much joy to not only help people achieve their goals, but to also see it improve their health for life. A person will come in and truly want a change in their lives, but actually motivating and giving them the tools to stick to it, is where I thrive. I try to focus on the realistic short term goals by changing things slowly in diet and exercise. I have found that this is one sure way to get someone to stay commited to reaching their ultimate long term goal. I am truly inspired by each and every client I have. Whether it be pre existing conditions, rehabing injuries, lack of mobility, intimidation, being a "newbie", lack of motivation, or wanting to form new habits and truly adhering to your goals; I've got you! My fitness journey started off back in 2013 when I was cast as Stacee Jaxx, who was meant to be absolutely JACKED, in the Broadway musical Rock of Ages. Long story short, that sparked a flame that would turn into a career that I am so passionate about. I received my BS degree in Exercise Science from Cal U of PA, my personal training certification through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a certification as a Speed Specialist from the National Academy of Speed and Explosion (NASE). I have taught group fitness and trained clients one on one for the past 5 years in NYC. I specialize in Speed Enhancement, Behavior Change, HIIT, Strength and Conditioning, Fat Loss, TRX, Mobility, Post Physical Therapy training and have even recently started offering my own virtual PE classes for kids and familes called "Fit'N'Silly" with Josh. I strive to support my clients in finding the best version of themselves through not only achieving, but surpassing their goals. My training is knowledge based, personable, tailored and more importantly, you’ll laugh either with or at me and my goofiness. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Josh is an amazing trainer. He trained my 18 year old son and through hard work and dedication was able to reverse my son’s diabetes diagnosis. I can’t express in words how grateful I am for Josh. His persistence and structured work outs changed by son’s life. He is not only dedicated to his work but has an unbelievable passion for what he does. Josh gets results and I highly recommend him.

Josh and I worked together for a month and he was excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Unfortunately due to HOA rules at my gym we could not continue to work together but I would do so again in the future.

Josh was a wonderful coach. I was trying to establish new workout routine due to COVID, and after discussing my goals and budget, Josh gave a great workout plan. I’ve seen increased motivation in myself and steady improvement physically and mentally. He was really great about adjusting workouts and exercises that didn’t work for me, and building additional workouts in areas I wanted more development. Couldn’t recommend more, and conveniently located for me in Astoria on Steinway.

I reached out to Josh after carefully reviewing a number of personal trainers on Thumbtack and glad I selected him. I have not exercised since February this year as I became ill from Covid-19 in April. Hospitalized for 2 weeks it was a long recovery process as I could't even walk up stairs. I am not 100% recovered as I am still extremely short of breath. Josh works closely with me and in only 3 weeks I am seeing results in my strength, fitness and starting to trim down. I put on a fair bit of weight because of the medication I was on so I'm glad to finally take some control over this. We work from my home and Josh is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and always positive to be around. Very motivating and I can't recommend him enough. he's to being fit and thin again :)
