- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Reliable Movers offers flat rate all inclusive pricing. Truck, labor, fuel, break down and set up of your furniture, padding/shrink wrapping, and insurance is included. Please note it is ILLEGAL for any mover to offer a senior citizen or military discount or coupon as listed in NYSDOT Household Good Mover Authority Law. It is also illegal to list any household good moving business as "fully insured".
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Reliable Movers is owner operated since 1996. We are licensed by NYS for household goods moves, and licensed by USDOT FOR long distance out of state moves. Our men are drug screened, back ground checked. Most of our employees have been with Reliable Movers 10 years +.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Mike the owner of Reliable Movers worked for a licensed movers for three years before branching out on his own starting with a delivery service, then pursing the household goods moving authority license.
