We hired Mr. Guzman to install our dishwasher and fix our disposal. He arrived on time, was extremely courteous, did a thorough job and was a pleasure to have in our home. I would definitely hire him again.
Joe responded within minutes to my request. He came the same day and completed the 220 dryer installation plug in about 30 mins. He also was kind enough to replace my smoke detector battery and noticed my washer was leaking water and fixed it. I would definitely recommend.
I contacted Jim to look at my garbage disposal and he fixed it without needing to replace it as I originally thought he would. He also installed a new faucet, and did other work (plumbing, electrical, & heat) for me. Jim is very professional so make sure to call him for any of your repair needs! I highly recommend his services!
Chris did a great job installing an outdoor faucet for us. He explained everything he was going to do and then went over how to winterize as well. The install was quick and Chris was courteous and very professional. Definitely would hire again!
We needed a hot water heater installed as a replacement for a failing one and a toilet unclogged. Shawn was available shortly after my request and exceeded my expectations. We encountered some complications with the water header and Shawn dealt with them on the spot and was transparent about the extra costs. He was courteous to my family and totally professional. The quality of the work looks great. I will definitely be looking to him for future projects.
Jesse did a fantastic job both repairing & installing things at my house. He excels at a job he loves. Quality & reliable work! My tankless hot water heater..... aaaaamazing, my heat very efficient. I recommend Fire & Ice Heating and Cooling to everyone I know.
I hired Don on three separate occasions during 2014 and plan on hiring him in 2015 to do needed work around our home, which is located in East Amherst. I find Don to be communicative with the customer, a professional and passionate in his work to ensure the work is of top quality and reasonably priced. Don's estimates of the work to be performed were accurate and complete. All changes to the scope of the work were primarily at my request, were thoroughly discussed with me and approved by me before work began. The work was finished in the time frame we agreed to up front. For substantially all of the work on these projects Don had a staff of two or three working with him. The staff was professional, just like Don, were very hard workers and pleasant to my wife and I. The first project was in our kitchen where a portion of the ceramic tile floor needed replaced, a new backsplash around the stove was installed and a sliding glass door between the kitchen and sun room was removed and replaced with a new door frame, which was stained and sealed. Don committed to a start date and an end date and he met those dates. This project was completed within a week. The work was of top quality. We wanted a border installed around the section of the kitchen floor being replaced and Don took his time to make sure it fit without excessive cuts to the border. This to me is a sign of his passion. The second project I hired Don to complete was to replace a 384 square foot treated wood deck. Don clearly explained to me up front that he could only quote on the surface of the deck and wouldn't know if the supports under the surface needed replaced until he and his team pulled off the old deck floor. Fortunately the supports were in good condition and this project was completed on time and in accordance with the estimate he provided. Don estimated the new deck would take three to four days and his estimate was met. Don hauled away all of the old deck and cleaned any and all debris. Again, Don was very communicative throughout this project making sure I knew when he was going to start and when he was going to complete. Don came back approximately six weeks later to stain this deck. He communicated up front when he would be on site and how long it would take and he met his timeframe. I had Don put two coats of stain which he did. The first day of staining he spent about a half day then left so the stain could properly dry then came back the next morning to put on the second coat of stain. This deck was done professionally and his work is excellent. The third project was a 360 square foot deck that I hired Don to replace. We had the same conversation when Don delivered the estimate that he can only estimate what he can see and wouldn't know if the supports under the deck floor needed replaced until he removed the old floor. The supports under this deck did in fact need replaced. Within a day I was provided a revised estimate to remove and replace all of the supports and at that time Don explained to me the timing to finish this deck. This deck was estimated to take six or seven days to complete and again Don met his schedule. Don completed this deck with the same level of professionalism and perfection that he did the first deck and kitchen work. We also agreed in advance to the revised work and timing of completing the work and he did the work in the time frame communicated to me. He came back several weeks later and stained this deck. Again, I am completely satisfied with the understanding Don had when he put the estimates together, the quality of the craftsmanship, the professionalism of he and his team as well as their meeting the goals in terms of timing we agreed to up front. I have recommended Don to our friends and family and would not hesitate to recommend Don to anyone. Also, I have already spoken to Don about additional work we would like to have completed on our home during 2015.
Ken was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help service my hot water heater and furnace. The response time was super quick. He’s flexible. The prices are more than fair and the work is superior. I’d recommend Total Comfort to anyone and will use them exclusively moving forward!
Offered options to replace rather than repair my malfunctioning water heater but approach was not in any way high pressure.
Needed a gas shutoff valve installed quickly as the old one broke. They were able to work quickly and get the gas turned back on so we had heat and hot water again. Would recommend.
My family and I decided to finish off our basement. We added a full bathroom, wet bar, and relocated our hot water tank. Roman was a pleasure to work with and finished the job on time. He was very clean and always picked up his tool and any mess he made at the end of the day. I would highly recommend him for his talent and professionalism.
Rob helped my husband and I with the washer and dryer installation. He's very punctual and professional. And he gave a lot of valid advice as well. We do recommend him!
I just had a water heater installed. What really attracted me to this company was their pricing. Their price was a lot lower than any of the competitors quotes. The technicians were right on time and did the job in under an hour. Being a typical struggling college student, I really appreciated how both owners worked with me on a payment plan. They were very understanding with my requests. I would definitely use them again in the future! Highly recommend them.
I have used Desco propery services for a few of our home repair needs. They have recently done electrical repair and replaced a hot water tank . Last summer we used their services for replacement of our front steps. I would highly recommend them. They are dependable and do quality work!!
It was a pleasure working with Rick. He was Fast, on time and very professional! I would gladly refer him to anyone looking for reasonably priced professional service. We needed a water heater replaced. Out of the three quotes we had, Rick was the most reasonable, and he was straight forward about what we needed. He was very quick to respond with answers to questions, and he was available within the week to replace our water heater! I would say this was by far, one of the better experiences I have had with repair/ contractor services in a long time. Thanks again.
George installed drains and water piping for our basement kitchen and laundry areas. He had to re-route all of the electrical and plumbing to a tankless hot water which he also installed. He completed the project according to the building code for the town. He did everything in a timely manner and within our budget. He was very good about telling us why he was doing things the way he was doing them and advising us so we dont have any problems in the future. He also built a bathroom, installed a shower, and new toilet in the basement. I think he could do almost any kind of remodeling project and I think he would do a great job. I highly recommend him!
I hired them both for shower job and install new water heater...the best experience I had called and the experience was great very personalable...will recommend them on all jobs
WJP Heating and Cooling were called due to a problem with my tankless water heater. The tech was able to determine what the problem was with the unit. He contacted the manufacture and had the warranty information corrected and was able to order the necessary parts for the unit. He was knowledgeable and through in his evaluation. I will use WJP heating and cooling again.
Installed new appliances. To include running new water line and shut off valve through a finished wall to connect ice maker feature on refrigerator
Had our hot water tank and laundry tub faucet replaced.
Rick Mincer - RAM Construction Rick - assisted by his son Richie - worked on a house we bought while we were on vacation in Florida. The house is a 3 BR Ranch on a village lot w/an attached 2 car garage & covered patio. Built in 1964, the house was purchased "as is" and was in the process of being fixed up after sitting unused for around 10 years and having had a roofing problem that caused some interior damage. We had RAM complete some of the water damage work prior to doing some major remodeling in the MBR & Bath. The bath was totally remodeled with all new fixtures and drywall. The MBR received a new sheetrock ceiling replacing the orig. 12" sq tiles and repairs to the walls before redecorating. The Kitchen was gutted and a complete new Kitchen with all new appliances was competed next. In the process of working on the kitchen, the boiler on the heating system failed and we decided to replace all of that system with a new forced air furnace. RAM worked with Main Plumbing & Heating on that project and also supplied temporary heat by setting up some temp electric heat units in the basement. RAM worked for us for 3 months - while we were in Florida - our input was to visit Lowe's and pick out things we wanted and they picked them up & installed them. We're very pleased with Rick's work and plan to use RAM to remodel the 2nd bathroom and do some more work on trim & prep for getting other areas ready for paint, in the next few weeks.
