FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally charge on the hour because every job is different. In occasion, I'll charge a flat fee for a job. If you want me to come out to your location and assess the job you want me to do, I charge a separate consultation fee. This covers my time and cost traveling to your location, and our initial conversations. This also seconds as a deposit, showing commitment to working on the project. If you wish to work with someone else, at least this will cover my time spent coming out to you. Also, if you need me to buy your equipment, furniture, trip to Home Depot, etc... there is a surcharge as that is time out of my day. I recommend that you are prepared with the job you want to do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself and get to know the issue at hand and goals the new customer wants. Then, we'll schedule for a time and day for me to come by and preform the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25+ years of handyman experience and work as a superintendent for several buildings. Construction is my specialty.
