My experience with advanced moving was excellent overall. With just two days notice, I was lucky enough to find this company with availability to move some large pieces of furniture from my daughter’s apartment in the Bronx to our home in Bergen County. I found them on Thumbtack (fantastic app btw) after putting in a request for a local moving company. My inquiry went in at 5 AM and Vance wrote back to me within minutes. After sending some pictures of the pieces, the addresses from where and to, plus the date and time requested, I was booked before my morning coffee. Come Monday, 2 pleasant and professional movers, Andrew and Damien, showed up on time, well acquainted with the streets of the Bronx. They got right to work. They dismantled the pieces and wrapped them carefully placing them on the truck with the same regard. When arriving to our home in NJ, we asked if they could take an old dresser to the curb before moving the new one in. They did so without a second thought. The reassembled the furniture and placed it where requested, left no mess behind, chatted with us for a bit and then left. The job was done within a few hours. And the price was excellent for the work put in. I would recommend adVanced moving company with absolute confidence to Fordham students moving in or out of the Bronx. Or for anyone in the city who needs a mover.

I had great experience with them. Fast yet high quality efficient work. Honest good people. When I asked for quote/ estimate, this is only one did NOT ask for pictures, itemized or how many flights. They did work quickly effortlessly with positive attitude all the way. I would recommend and I will do hire them again. You guys Rock 💕

This amazing group of men showed up to my parents house and made the moving process for them effortless. After years of convincing, my parents finally decided to move in with me. They are moving out of the home that I was raised in which was a hard pill for my 78 yr old mother to swallow. She’s been there for the last 40yrs of her life. She was blown away by their work, politeness and understanding. She never felt rushed and was extremely happy. This was a huge assist and I’m happy I found them through this platform. I absolutely will recommend them to any of my close friends and family members that are considering moving in the future.

Moving is never fun.. and I’m not gonna say some cheesy line and say these awesome cool dudes make moving super fun or so, but I will say they make your moving experience so stress free, so clean, so quick, and so perfect. They make it look so easy you will almost double guess yourself and think you could’ve done it yourself. (No way I could have done this by myself or even if I called some friends to help, even) They are just that good. So good you will be surprised at how easy and clean these guys make it seem. I would not even think about another company to call when I need to move. These guys are level up, top of the class, and the best team to go with. Hands down feet down bow down. Thank you again. I’ll be calling you in a year when my new lease ends. 👍🏼

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
2 men w/truck $120/hr 3 men w/truck $155/hr (10% off) 4 men w/truck $195/hr (10% off) 5 men w/truck $230/hr (10% off) **There's a 3.5-4 hour minimum for each service depending on location of the jobs. **Automatic 10% off for first time customers!! **Wrapping of furniture and disassembly/reassembly is included in your move as well as TV unmounting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up a confirmation email for the customer which includes all the details of the move including contact, pricing, and any other applicable fees. There are no fees hidden. Other fees, if applicable include : COI (Certificate of Insurance) $50 Reservation Deposit $50 (deducted from your total) * Reservation deposits are non-refundable and goes towards are time and effort made for arrangements. * Any damage claims must be reported within two days to be deemed valid for our liability.
