- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We're a premium live jazz ensemble, and every quote is built around your event: the size of the band, the hours and the location. Duos start at $1,600 and weddings start at $2,000. Most weddings and corporate receptions with a trio or quartet are $2,500–$4,500; larger bands and destination events are quoted individually. Our professional sound system, wireless mics for toasts and full insurance, with a certificate of insurance (COI) for your venue, are always included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Tell us your date, venue, guest count and the feeling you want for the evening. We'll recommend the right ensemble and send a written quote, usually within 24 hours. Once you book, we plan the music with you moment by moment: the processional, cocktail hour, first dance and any special songs. On the day we arrive early, set up quietly in 10–20 minutes, and you never have to think about the music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
SpringLight's musicians are professional jazz players, many of them conservatory-trained, who perform at New York's jazz clubs, hotels and private events year-round. Every lineup is made up of experienced wedding and event musicians who read the room, follow your timeline and handle requests on the spot.
