Dog Training
Sam not only brings knowledge, skill, and a unique talent for engaging with dogs—equally important is his compassion and patience at the human level. Working with Sam has been essential to my dog Elliott’s development, and my confidence as a pup-parent. He worked with me to solidify a foundation for Elliott’s basic needs like exercise and nutrition, which lay the groundwork for us to make progress on his problem behaviors which included biting and destructive chewing. In my experience, Sam’s approach is oriented in creating conditions for positive behavior, not forcing out bad behaviors with quick fixes. This has worked out really well for us. Don’t look to Sam for quick hacks or magic solutions to bad habits. He is clear in his attention to the root cause of behavior, and finding solutions accordingly. In conclusion...if you feel you and your dog deserve some improvement in your relationship, and you’re willing to commit to that goal, Sam is a must hire. Basic info about me/my circumstances: Hired Sam a couple weeks after adopting a 4 month old hound mix from A rescue. Puppy biting and destructive chewing became unmanageable which prompted me to seek out dog training. Learned so many more key things beyond that initial issue, and I’m so grateful:; .

Dog Training
Sam was very easy to work with and really focused on our dog’s personality and needs. The trainings felt personalized and casual, allowing us to form a better bond with our dog! Recommend for new dog owners who are looking for support in understanding their dogs behaviors and actions.

Dog Training
Sam was great! He helped us better understand how to handle our new puppy. It’s more like he trains you so you can train the dog. Fun, nice, and most importantly you can tell he loves dogs and they love him too! Cody is 100x better than before we had Sam help us. Thought I could do it on my own, well worth the investment having Sam’s help

Dog Training
Sam is a very professional, patient and knowledgeable trainer. I have a 4-Month old Shiba Inu. My puppy loves him a lot. Sam is detail-oriented and balance both positive negative reinforcement training techniques as well. We’ve seen the big changes after one month training with him. Sam not only brought with individualized training experience based on our dog’s needs but also help us understand dog’s behavior and logics. It’s absolutely helpful and amazing training experience with him.

Dog Training
Sam fixed my dog’s terrible separation anxiety. He is patient, thoughtful and helps you understand what you are doing right or wrong. He trains the owner, which was eye opening for me. I stayed consistent with my homework executing what I had learned with Sam during my sessions, and was able to alleviate my dog’s separation anxiety in less than a month and a half. I continue to work with Sam on bettering my dog’s behavior overall. He’s great.
