FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is designed to be transparent and competitive, offering two pricing structures based on the location of the job (please see details below). However, for furniture assembly, I strive to maintain flat fees to ensure your satisfaction. I am always ready to discuss this or any other aspect of the pricing policy with you. In general, there is a minimum charge of $100 for 1st hour for all jobs. No hidden fees, and we provide detailed estimates before starting any work. We occasionally offer discounts for larger projects, so be sure to ask about any current promotions when you get in touch. 1. Local Jobs (within a 20-minute drive from my location, zip code 91367): o Rate: $70.00 per hour o Total Minimum Charge: $120.00 2. Outside Jobs (beyond a 30-minute drive): o Rate: $70.00 per hour o Additional Charge: Driving time is billed at the same hourly rate. For example, if the job site is 30 mins away, the total minimum charge would be for 2.5 hours (2 hours for the job and 0.5 hour for one way travel) - $175. If you have any questions or need to discuss pricing further, I am always available to talk.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure to communicate with clients via phone or text to understand the specific details of their project. To confirm the booking and finalize our appointment, I ask that clients text me their address as soon as possible. This allows me to have their address and phone number, enabling me to update them when I’m en route to their location—establishing my exact drive time—or to reconfirm the appointment a day in advance if needed. Payment is accepted via cash or Zelle and is due upon completion of the job. Throughout the project, we maintain open communication to ensure everything is proceeding as expected and address any concerns you might have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over 6 years of hands-on experience in the handyman industry, which has provided me with extensive practical knowledge and expertise. While I do not hold formal certifications, my years of working directly on a wide variety of projects have honed my skills and ensured a high standard of safety and workmanship. My experience in the field has equipped me to handle complex tasks with confidence and precision.
