- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If I charge an hourly rate for a job I have a 2 hour minimum to offset the travel time involved and fixed costs such as Thumbtack fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients usually give me a list of items they would like completed and I give them a fixed price before I come to do the work. If it is a larger job I will usually come to the client to give them a free quote and go over scope of work that needs to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my education and training for this field is self taught or learned from working with others in my line of work.
