Mr Bill is a nice gentleman but when it comes to performing job duties as an inspector he is the most incompetent inspector I have ever met. I have hired six different inspectors for my previous purchases in different States and I never had any complaints. Rather than focusing on inspecting the house for an new homeowner to make them feel comfortable Bill's objective seems to be advising customers how to get reduction in price from the seller. He repeatedly mentioned that he would right report in such a way that I could show the seller to knock off thousands of dollars. Several time I advised him that I wanted true assessment of home so I could get the seller fix in advance as I didn't have time to deal with maintenance issues. I pointed out items on the spot to confirm whether he had inspected. He looked for excuses over excuses. I couldn't depend on his inspection report that was conflicting, lacking information, and vague. After seeing the report I made several calls to Bill for resolution but no luck. He kept the termite report as hostage until I would send him a written note stating I wouldn't provide negative review. I complained to Thumbtack. This was about a month ago. Although I was frustrated but I controlled myself to not to give him review as he begged for it. With limited knowledge I had I performed my own inspection as I couldn't afford to hire another inspector. Now I have moved into the house. Seeing all major issues in this house I'm forced to provide my feedback so other customers are aware. Leaking sink faucets damaging new kitchen cabinets. Leaking shower faucets in both bathrooms resulting water seepage behind walls. Several Heat system radiators do not work. Outlets inoperative. Improper wiring causing breakers to pop out constantly. New Appliances not even connected yet he confirmed he verified operation. Now I noticed defects. Heating system ineffective. All Air conditioning units not sealed causing cool breeze coming in rooms. Windows jammed and missing screens. No hot water coming from faucets. Need to change. We have been in the house for a week only. Who knows what else I will find. This is the job of Inspectors to look for these items. I pointed out some of these items to Bill but he gets offended. I will recommend stay away from such inspectors who fails to perform duty. You will end up paying a lot more for repairs.Feb 18, 2016Verified123 Inspect's reply
Mr Raj was unhappy that I arrived early to inspect the large property he selected. I asked him twice during the inspection to stay with me so we can discus any and all concerns he may have about the property. It was a big house and I had a lot to do and he wandered away. He said that he bought about 5 properties prior and used inspectors. Yet he and the seller failed to hook everything up. The utilities werent working and not hooked up. I tried to explain to him that appliances were brand new and had warranties but he was still very upset. Mr Raj gave me my first bad review and I learned always keep the buyer close to me during the inspection so we can discuss all his or her concerns. William Hernandez
Bill responded quickly and did an inspection and notice for our insurance company Last minute. We spoke the night before and he was there first thing in the morning. He’s very knowledgeable about homes. He even gave us some recommendations. His service was stellar.Jan 9, 2019Verified
Great service provider. Reasonably priced. He offered insight about the home as well as provided an inspection to fulfill banking requirements. I'd recommend Mr. Hernandez.Nov 9, 2018Verified
