FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1. Transparent Hourly Rates RabbitCleans pricing is based on the number of cleaners and the time required. You only pay for the time we work — no hidden charges. If cleaning exceeds the booked time, additional hours are billed at $52/hour per cleaner. 2. Supplies Included All cleaning products and materials are included. Vacuum cleaners can be provided upon request for an additional $45 fee (Move-in/Move-out cleanings include a vacuum by default). 3. Travel / Destination Fee A small destination fee may apply for locations outside our regular service zones or with parking limitations. This covers travel time and transportation costs. 4. Discounts & Promotions We occasionally offer seasonal promotions and referral discounts. Recurring cleanings (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) receive loyalty pricing that’s lower than one-time rates. 5. Deposit Policy A hold or deposit may be placed on your card to secure the booking. The card is only charged after the cleaning is completed. Holds are automatically released by your bank if canceled. 6. Sales Tax All prices are subject to New York State and local sales tax, which is automatically calculated at checkout. 7. Payment Methods & Fees We accept all major credit/debit cards. Zelle or bank transfer options are available upon request. 8. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may incur a $50 late cancellation fee to cover staff scheduling costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can book online, by text, or over the phone. We’ll ask for details such as your home type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and any specific requests. Based on that, we’ll provide an initial estimate. Once you confirm your appointment, a hold is placed on your card to secure the time slot. No payment is taken until after your cleaning is completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At RabbitCleans, we combine professional cleaning experience with formal training. Hands-On Skill Training – Every new cleaner completes a structured onboarding program covering product usage, equipment maintenance, material-specific cleaning (wood, marble, stainless steel), and customer communication. Workplace Safety – Employees receive regular refreshers on PPE, hazard communication, lifting techniques, and emergency procedures. Our focus is not just on cleaning — it’s on safety, consistency, and customer trust.
