Introduction: We believe that critical thinking is an avenue towards the social betterment of all things that just as a scintilla is a small spark or a glittering speck that can catch on and become a burst of flame, so mastery of critical thinking in one subject area can spark an intellectual liveliness that allows one to interact more constructively and meaningfully with others in the human community. Unlike other companies, we don’t propound one "branded" technique, but are instead comfortable with a variety of approaches. To that end, we have stores of specific and varied study materials, including test preparation and study guides that were developed by Sakina Fakhri, co-founder, and have proven more effective than the most popular materials on the market. During the course of private tutoring sessions, we progressively and precisely track and evaluate the efficacy and comfort level of different methods. Through this process, we are able to pinpoint the best practices for each client and therefore produce significant results, from increased scores on standardized tests, to a newly kindled passion for a particular academic subject. I believe deeply in the following quote, attributed (probably erroneously) to Einstein: "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." A group classroom highlights a conglomerate mind and provides rewards, to some extent, based on rubrics that are sourced in similarities; individual tutoring, on the other hand, involves sitting down and understanding one student's particular mind and helping him or her to find the one way in which he or she is more brilliant than anybody else in the entire world - often, a genius is applicable or apparent in an area that nobody has thought to measure.
