If there was an option to give zero stars I would. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I first spoke with Kerry who was so sweet and pleasant and quoted me $986 for up to 300 cubic feet from NY to Florida. I told her I wasn't finished packing and didn't know what I would end up with so she just gave an estimate. I later read reviews saying they will charge so much more than the estimate and it raised a concern which I expressed to Kerry. Kerry was reassuring and said the only way the price would be more would be if I went over the 300 c.f. or at the last minute added bulky furniture. I told her I had more boxes than originally estimated and she said don't worry it sounds like you have way under and can keep adding stuff. I told her when I finished packing what I ended up with and she again reassured me that the price would not go up. So, moving day finally comes and the guys walk in 4 hours late and instantly look around and tell me that it's going to be $200 more for long-haul because there was no parking directly in front of my building and it would be another hundred or two to put a box around my TV and he will give me a flat rate of $1500. I had a really big argument with the guy and after some back and forth he ended up walking out on me telling me to find another company because I said it was ridiculous going from $986 to $1500 when I was very specific with the office with the items that I had and I was nowhere near 300 cubic feet. So after he left I just stood there in shock and crying and called the office to speak with Kerry. She said I'm so sorry I can't believe that happened let me try to fix this and called the driver to make him come back ...however there was nothing she could do about the price she said he sees the stuff and he decides and all they can do is take $25 off to make it an even flat rate of 1475. So they made me sign a paper saying that I need to pay the 1475 or they will leave and I had no choice because I had to be out of my apartment that day and was not going to find another mover at the last minute. While that was happening the spot in front of my building reserved for movers opened up and i ask the driver to move the truck so I didn't have to pay the extra 200 dollars for the long haul, he told me he had difficulty driving in my area which is just a regular street, and he didn't feel like moving the truck to the front of the building and even if he did I already signed the paper agreeing to pay the flat rate so it didn't matter which is completely ridiculous. So finally when they finished I signed inventory paper and asked again when my stuff will arrive because the office told me tuesday or wednesday at the very latest. The driver told me the same I asked to put it in writing but he said come on we already wasted so much time there is no reason for it not to get there after wednesday it will be there don't worry. I packed my computers with them and I work from home on my computers so I needed to be sure. So on Monday I called the moving company, and I asked when they were coming, they told me Wednesday and they said they would call the next day to confirm a time. Towards the end of the day when I didn't hear from them I called again and I was transferred to dispatch. Dispatch was really nasty and told me that the truck has not even left New York yet because they need to fill it up before they go to Florida they said maybe they will leave on Thursday. I , of course had another argument with them and they told me that they have up to 21 days to deliver my stuff and it's all in the fine print. After many attempts of calling them back after they hung up on me I finally spoke with a man who claims to be the owner of the company. I have a 20 minute recorded conversation with him asking him to make this right explaining my situation and my concerns and he was nastier than anybody else I have dealt with. He told me I signed the papers and there's nothing that I can do he said nobody put a gun to my head and forced me to sign the paper and he said that I am lucky that he is not making me wait 21 days. He also told me that maybe he can give me a five or a $6 discount but he cannot guarantee that and when I mentioned that I was losing days of work he told me I should be working from my cell phone he eventually hung up on me as well. So on Thursday I tried to call them again to confirm that my staff was leaving on Thursday I left a few messages Thursday and Friday and Saturday. They finally returned my call on Saturday late afternoon telling me that the truck left on Friday night and would most likely be here on Monday. So today is now monday as I'm writing this and my stuff was just delivered. And it went just as expected. I had a 350 dollar balance which I really did not want to pay them but they refuse to even open the truck until they received a 350 dollar balance. So the guy called the office and I believe her name was rose, another very nasty woman who told me that I need to pay 350 dollars otherwise they will not open the truck and she was ready to send the drivers away back to new york to put my stuff in storage which I would need to pay for. Although he was instructed to leave, the driver seemed to have felt bad about the situation and opened the trunk and allowed me to see the stuff. Then they asked me to sign a paper that said I have received and inspected all of my belongings. I refused to sign it because the stuff was still on the truck and I didn't know is everything was there. The drivers were ready to drive away with my stuff so I hopped in the truck so that they could not leave. I was not giving up on this and I think that the driver just wanted to be done with this so they started to unload and they brought up all of my stuff and placed it in one room rather than the rooms that were labeled on the boxes as the company said they would do. I finally signed the paper after everything was delivered and wrote a little note that everything has not been inspected, it seems so far that maybe one bag of stuff is missing but I have not searched carefully through everything I'm hoping it's all there. I would highly advise not using this company and whatever moving company you do decide to use, be sure you have read all of the reviews, and have them come over for a visual inspection to give you a final quote.

This company is not honest. Do not use them. Residential move from NYC to the south. The crew chief charged me for some boxes and packing those boxes, but the items were never placed in any box at all, only wrapped in paper. They charged for mattress bags but only wrapped them in shrink wrap. They claim to wrap all your furniture in blankets for free, but you have to pay for the tape to secure the blankets at $5 a roll. If you have any questions about the charges, the crew chief then threatens to offload the truck and put your stuff on the street. These guys are not reputable. The actual guys on the crew were great, courteous and very responsible. No damage to the apartment or items.

Don't listen to bad reviews. there's actually more good than bad. If u tellm one bedroom apartment n they come pack up 3 of course u have to pay more. Be accurate. I moved from Charleston sc to nj. Guys came packed n bubble wrapped everything. They were very gentle with my things. We didn't do a thing. They did everything. It was nice cuz with a 1 yr old it's hard to do anything. They loaded the truck and off went my things. It was the first time I trust anyone to do a move for me. I usally did everything my own. But life is so much easier with movers like them. Moving is already stressful. I actually got delayed a extra week in sc. And my stuff was already in nj. The lady their called me (rose) and I explained to her i had few extra lose ends at work n won't be up for another qeek. My things where in the truck n ready to be placed in my new apartment. But I wasn't there. After talking to rose she said they will put everything in storage for me cuz they needed the truck. I said that's fine. Wen I got up I called rose and told her I was there. I was expecting fees like crazy. But no surprisingly they put my things in storage for me than went and picked them up and brought it to me. They unloaded the truck. All I used is my finger telling them where to place everything. It was nice lol. But yeah guys were very nice and professional. Rose was great. I could've been charged up the butt cuz they had to hold my things with anyone else. But they know how to make u feel stress free. I will definitely b using them again in few months to move to my finally finished home. Reading all the bad reviews that are bad talking the company is sad cuz if u tellm they packing and loading 1 bedroom apartment and they get there n it's a 3 bedroom of course there's gonna b more charges. Be accurate when u called and book. So be accurate n u won't be like these bad reviews with a bad day.

just like all the other reviews. typical bait and switch, dishonest, uncaring, unprofessional. Terrible experience added to an already stressful move.
