I'm sorry I could only give him 5 stars! I had to pull an engagement celebration off within 24 hours -- Charly saved the day and then some. He was attentive and detailed, a top notch professional. Everything he does from prep to display shows his passion for cuisine. Each of the 4 courses had an indescribable depth. Sometimes I found myself LAUGHING because the food was so good. His plating matched the taste, using assorted flowers and great layouts to elevate the experience. His most impressive trait to me was his commitment to service. He stopped me from washing dishes as soon as he arrived and finished the job. He scrubbed my stovetop after he was done cooking and even offered to take out my trash. His quick growing reputation is well-earned, and he's gained a new fan. Look no further if you need someone to provide the culinary soundtrack to your evening. THANK YOU!

Working with Charly was a pleasure. He was very fast in responding to my post with a very reasonable quote. Through messaging, Charly and I made some changes to the menu and agreed an an adjusted price (I went with two different proteins for the main course). When he came everything came together seamlessly. Each course was timed perfectly. Looking and eating the meal, you were able to see the season reflected in the dish. Charly used many different flavors in each dish and they each played off of each other making one truly memorable experience. Charly was a great personality and we all had a very fun night together. I will definitely be using him again.

First time using thumbtack - Charly was communicative, instructive and gave great guidance for what our event should look like. He arrived early and beyond prepared. He managed a kitchen like it was his own and the food was beautifully presented but also delicious! Creative and able to roll with whatever came his way. He was also charming with all our guests. The day before my daughter's 2nd birthday, I spoke to Charly, having decided last-minute to throw a small and casual afternoon party and looking for something a notch up from warming up Trader Joe's hors d'oeuvres. It ended up being a happy miscommunication, as Charly nailed it out of the park, and in speaking to him for a few minutes, I decided to give him some license to "do his thing." We truly did not expect the level of class, quality and utmost professionalism he brought to our home the next day. Not to mention, he managed to shop for all the fresh ingredients and items with less than 24 hours' notice for 20 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1-4 years old. We and all the guests commented on the quality and freshness of food (immediate eyebrows of approval at the mention of Paisanos, where he purchased the lamb chops!). He brought all the ingredients, prepared and served invisibly and quietly while the party (chaos with the kids) raged on, and then cleaned up the kitchen impeccably before he left. This was all the more impressive given that our kitchen and resources were pretty minimal -- he was able to work with what we had in terms of serving platters and ware. Charly is great fun to work with, while being truly a top-notch professional. Thanks again, Charly.

After a customer expresses interest, I communicate with the customer to determine the their preferences for the event. We create a menu and agree on a price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied and trained at the Paul Augier culinary school for 3 years in the south of France. I worked many years in restauranrs in Monaco, Nice, Paris, Amsterdam, New York and luxury cruises.
