Introduction
As a child, I always loved sports, but I wasn't blessed with what you would call an athletic physique. As I started getting older, I lifted weights with the hope that it would make me a better athlete. When bicep curls and crunches didn't lead to my dream body, I started studying how to put together a complete exercise program so that I could get the results I so badly wanted. The studying led to receiving a formal education at the National Personal Training Institute where I learned from nationally renowned trainer and Tae Kwon Do stud, John Kimmich. From there, the quest for knowledge has been ongoing. I love so many things about training. Motivating clients to strive for ambitious goals and then helping them achieve those goals provides a feeling like nothing else. But it's not all hard work in the gym. The other beneficial aspect is the relationships I've made. The sweat and long hours I've spent in the gym with clients have forged some of my closest friendships. Certifications: -National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer -National Personal Training Institute Graduate -Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Certified The variety of challenges and goals my clients present me. On a day to day basis Im always being challenged to put together a unique program with the intent to tackle one of my clients ambitious goals.

Awesome first session. I like that he seems realistic and relatable compared to other trainers that will tell you anything you want to hear. Very affordable as well. You'll easily get twice the sessions and more out of your training.

Rob was professional from day 1 - taking notes and talking about goals and nutrition. He was encouraging and easy to get along with - he was also very motivating and created great workout routines for me. He was always flexible and understanding of any changes to my schedule. I highly recommend Rob as a personal trainer if you're looking to get into shape and have fun doing so!

I began browsing different profiles for myself and found Rob's profile a great match for my husband. Immediately I received an email to touch base and we ended sealing a ten session workout. Excited to see where this journey takes my husband! :) Rob has been extremely professional and courteous!

Rob is fantastic! Over the last couple years shin splints had really made it tough for me to work out on a consistent basis. As a result I had gained a little bit of weight. I set about to find a trainer that might be able to design a workout for me that would keep me pain free and help me take off some of the weight I gained. Rob did just that. By putting together a regimen that involved a lot of non-weight bearing exercises I was able to take off 10 pounds quickly and now that I'm down to a lighter weight my knee issues are a lot better too!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All new clients undergo what's known as a functional movement screen during the first session. This is a way to root out any asymmetries or dysfunctional movements. From there I am armed with the knowledge to put together a personalized program that correct's weakness and puts clients in a position to stay healthy and succeed!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm always reading the latest peer reviewed articles and attending the latest seminars. I recently attended a Titleist Performance Institutes Level 3 seminar for golf fitness professionals. This industry is always evolving and to provide the best services to my clients I have to do the same!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Any number of questions should be presented to a personal trainer before signing with them. Most importantly though, are they certified? And as a follow up to that, who are they certified by? Be wary of any trainers that can't prove accreditation.
