My experience with kickoff has been nothing short of excellent. Sarah, one of the trainers is so sweet, understanding, motivating , patient , and has helped me overcome some pretty big struggles turning my weight loss process. If you are looking for some accountability, weight loss and an outstanding personal trainer , then you have to try this . Like seriously, so worth it

LOVE love love the Kickoff app! I started in March (when COVID restrictions had me getting a little pudgy), and it has been a wonderful experience. I have pelvic floor problems post-baby (now pre-teen), and tried three different apps with miserable results. I contacted Kickoff and was very honest about my problem, and mentioned that I was working with a physiotherapist. My first match was very open and let me know that she was willing but inexperienced with my problem, and I decided it wouldn't be my ideal fit. Thankfully I was referred to a trainer who knew something about what I was going through. She has been a dream come true! We've worked together to build a program that incorporates my physical therapy exercises and builds off of them. I started out being unable to lift any weight other than my body, then moved on to soup cans, and now I'm working with 10Lb dumbbells. Sure, not every exercise has worked out, but my trainer has made adjustments and has 100% listened to the feedback I've given her to make my routines even better. Kickoff also offers help with food. My diet was pretty good to start with, but tracking photos of meals and getting feedback on portions and hearing "what about protein" on my vegan-based plate has made a big difference. The recipe portion is definitely a work in progress, but just the ability to have photos of meals and snacks all in one place is pretty cool. Just the fact that someone checks in every day to help keep me accountable or just to give a gentle nudge to remind me of a workout is wonderful. I've convinced my husband to join, and he's down 20 pounds in about six months (crazy!) and has been doing it safely. Another family member, who is unable to use one of her hands due to a disability, has also been matched with a great trainer and is losing weight and getting more fit after years of inactivity. Really, if you are super honest about your abilities, concerns, and goals, you'll be matched with someone fantastic to help you. The feedback loop between trainer and regular person is super important, and I'm super thankful for the experience I've had over nearly a year.

My experience with Kickoff has been amazing. My trainers name is Cameron and working with her has CHANGED MY LIFE. So far I’m down 50 pounds! I have tried loosing weight so many times with no success but having the support and guidance from my trainer is what really worked for me. I recommend Kickoff and my trainer Cameron to everyone I know!

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve lost the same 20 pounds and gained it right back again. I didn’t realize that the habits I was using before to lose weight were not only unhealthy, but not sustainable. Not to mention, I used to be a big binge-eater and my trainer Andrea has helped me form eating habits that I never thought were possible for me. Since starting kickoff I’ve lost more than 20 pounds and my body has changed in ways I never thought was possible. I’ve never kept up with exercise for longer than 3 months consistently and now I’m on month 7 and not looking to stop anytime soon!

I have a trainer (Andrea) she goes over and beyond professionalism. She not only values me as a client but as a person trying to do better physically as well as mentally staying on my game and focusing even when there are some rough patches. She understands we are all humans and things happen and she makes me understand that’s it’s ok to give myself grace sometimes because I am sometimes my worst enemy when it comes to the gym..... She listens and gets me back on track .. She is AMAZING !!!!!

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?You’ll start with a free video chat with an expert trainer to discuss your goals and learn more about Kickoff works. Then your trainer will build a custom daily exercise and nutrition program just for you, check in daily via text to help you stay on track, and adapt your workouts and meal plans based on your feedback and progress. Your trainer will also work with you during live sessions over video chat, if you like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All of our trainers are certified personal trainers. Many are also registered dietitians, licensed physical therapists, yoga instructors and more. Just let us know if you are looking for any particular skill set.
