Introduction: I'm a professional Jazz Pianist and Music Producer living in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016, I received my Master's degree from Berklee College of music in Boston, MA as part of the world-famous Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Prior to that, I graduated from New England Conservatory, where I studied with Fred Hersch and MacArthur Fellows Jason Moran and Ran Blake.
Originally from Los Angeles, I've been teaching piano lessons privately since 2011, and have taught on the faculty for the Berklee 5-Week Jazz Workshop, and their Newport Jazz Festival Summer intensive.
I am passionate about connecting the dots and helping students power past their perceived roadblocks to find the most enjoyment in what they do, and to discover themselves as artists.
Additionally, I offer lessons in Music Production, Mixing, and Logic Pro, and find enjoyment in developing a curriculum which combines Music Theory, Musicianship, and Improvisation.
