Hi! I am a professional pianist, composer, bandleader and experienced music educator. As a professional musician I have recorded 12 critically acclaimed albums, as both a bandleader and sideman. I have toured extensively in the US, China, South Korea, Nepal, Costa Rica, and all over Europe, and perform regularly in various venues in New York City with different bands and projects. I performed at prestigious venues and festivals, such as the European Parliament, New York Jewish Museum, Jazzmandu Festival, Ueberjazz Festival, Elbjazz Festival, JazzOpen Festival, and many more. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, I moved to New York City in 2017 as a Fulbright scholar with the mandate to contribute to the intercultural understanding between the US and Germany. In this time I had the great opportunity to teach Jazz/Pop Piano courses for undergraduate students at the New York University, while graduating myself with a Master of Music in Jazz Instrumental Performance from the NYU in 2019. My style of teaching always seeks to meet the students individual needs and interests as personalized as possible.
