Introduction
Christine has been teaching/training professionally since 2011. She is a certified Pilates Instructor, Post Rehab/Medical Exercise Specialist from the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals (AAHFRP-MES), and a Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT). Christine has decades of movement experience as a professional dancer and choreographer contributing invaluable knowledge to her training sessions. She is able to adapt to all learning styles creating a comfortable and safe environment for each student. Sessions are tailored to the individual with clear verbal and physical cuing leading to optimal results. Christine has a friendly and humorous approach. She creates uniquely challenging sessions allowing clients to safely and effectively reach their goals. I have been working with Christine for the last 3 years and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and puts an enormous amount of work preparing for every session we have. She brings a different plan to each workout so we are always trying new things and I never feel bored. Her workouts are so thoughtful, taking into account general strength building but also working on correcting existing issues. She takes an active interest in my life and notices everything. I run and without me ever asking, she started working more with me on knee alignment and ankle strengthening to help prevent running injuries. I have become significantly stronger since I started working out with Christine and it is so satisfying to realize that exercises I used to struggle with are easy now. She is an exceptional instructor, a wonderful human and I feel very lucky to see her each week

Christine is phenomenal! Make that appointment, your body will thank you. I worked with her for several years to address chronic back pain, and increase general core strength, balance, and muscle tone through a Pilates approach. She combines a deep knowledge of muscular/skeletal systems with creative and original exercises so that you never get bored and get really strong. Every session is different: she plans ahead for each meeting, with your individual condition and goals in mind, and brings an original exercise regime just for you. If you arrive with a particular pain, she’ll deploy highly-targeted stretches or other interventions to help relieve your issue. All this she does with a charming sense of humor, sparky energy, and empathy.

If I was allowed to pick the additional two categories (value and punctuality), I would select those as well. I would also add to those categories that Christine is inventive - gearing training to a client's (my) particular needs. Beyond responding to one's particular goals, Christine's insight keeps one engaged. As someone who is not naturally inclined to exercise, Christine makes training sessions fun and something to which one looks forward. Lastly, she also provides exercises that one can do at home or on trips such that one's conditioning can continue. I highly recommend Christine! If I still lived in New York, I would continue to see her (as I did ) four times a week!

Christine is the best! Incredibly knowledgable, a great teacher, can break movements down so they are easy to follow and complete. She pushes you just the right amount in just the right way to help build strength, confidence... all while maintaining great form. I’d highly recommend working with her.
