- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend webinars and get re-certified with the Red Cross every 2 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a lot of difficulty learning how to swim as a child and many instructors wrote me off as a hopeless case. One instructor didn't give up on me and I went on to become Captain of my HS swim team. I've never forgotten that and I've always wanted to continue on in finding those kids and adults who are just like I was when I started to learn how to swim, and I want to show them that it's possible. It really, truly is.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
30 minute private/semi-private lessons for tots and toddlers; 45 minute private/semi-private lessons for youth, teens and adults; 1 hour private/semi-private for swim team prep and off season training teens.
