I teach SAT and ACT in virtual one-on-one tutoring. Through my effective program, I can help you identify and eliminate your weak points through practice and focused lessons.
First, we will discuss your goals for college admission and test scores. Then I will recommend a package, plan a schedule, and set a plan for study.
Next, I will mail you my Test Coach Guidebook, a workbook that I developed for use by my students. It contains tips, lessons, and practice problems. The best part is that the student and I will always be looking at the same page during online sessions. The paper-and-pencil format has been proven to be most effective for learning, so I considered it important to keep this in my process.
We will meet on by video conference for tutoring sessions. Each class will start by going over questions from the homework that was assigned from the previous class, then going through the guidebook. I will always be paying attention to what you seem to have mastered and what you need to spend more time on. Periodically I will assign practice tests so I can gauge your progress.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first have a sit-down meeting to talk about the parents' and students' goals (college, SAT/ACT scores), to make sure we're on the same page. After that we set out a plan of how we are going to accomplish it, based on the distance to the goal-line and the time left on the clock.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a 2360 on the SAT. I have over 10 years of private tutoring experience. I graduated from Georgia Tech and am a J.D. Candidate at Northwestern University.
What types of customers have you worked with?
High School students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. Some with special learning requirements.
