Professional art installation & decor service, insured, & including layout consultation
for all styles of presentation. Broadly experienced incl gallery work & other professional art settings. Typical min rate of $240. which covers about 2.5hrs visit, no city travel fees. Much of my portfolio is improvised from an initial consultation with clients, & you will find I’m flexible, patient, efficient and able to offer constructive visual ideas appropriate to the project.
My background is in fine arts, & here in NYC I have excellent relationships with clients including Guy Hepner gallery, Live Nation, Blu Dot (an upscale design shop), Engine Room, Orange Theory Fitness, & also numerous past clients including large projects for folks like OkCupid, Oscar, & Little Bits as well as far too many private clients to list.
2 days minimum lead time & for weekend it’s advisable to be in touch by midweek. And finally a word on ladder requests—typically to hang pictures we rarely need over a modest stepladder or simple chair; I do everything I can to work around available equipment but will assess a surcharge for trucking a ladder along.

Abraham was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly and accommodated my schedule. He curated where to hang which pieces were beautifully. Many other people who reached out did not include design in their services, just hanging, and wanted to charge more. Abraham was also very patient with our dog 😊

Abraham did a great job installingart throughout my home. His initial response to my request on the app was thorough, detailed, and gave me the confidence he was the right person for the job. Onsite, he was open to my ideas, took a very consultative approach about the pieces I wasn’t sure where to hang, explained why and why not to hang certain pieces in certain places, and helped create visual interest in how my pictures were placed and hung. We looked at and discussed different placement options to ultimately create a beautifully enhanced version of my home. He helped me see how much better my home could be with the right approach to displaying my art.

Abraham did a fantastic job hanging our pictures. He provided me an estimate over the phone of how long my job would take, which was accurate. He was very thoughtful with placement for the pictures and offered helpful suggestions. The rooms look great and everything was hung carefully. I will definitely hire him again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While there are different pricing strategies for skilled work, I opt to not assess in-town fees to travel & rather have a minimum call. You won’t find a way to avoid one or the other & I strive to be approachable while maintaining excellent work standards.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I simply ask for a clear outline of what you want done & the best info you can give me if I have questions for you about specifics at your place. We're trying to be efficient here after all & no one likes feeling like someone else is wasting their time or money.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As I indicated, I soaked up a lot from growing up around a father who seemed to continually be working on some kind of home improvement & have since used my art training as a jumping off point to develop my portfolio as an art-aligned service provider who has now over 10 years of repertory projects I can use to inform my approach, as well as real & ongoing connections to NYC’s professional art scene.
