I provide high quality video transfer services and will take your big dusty box and happily convert them into date-organized digital files that fit right onto one little USB you can plug right into your computer and watch whenever you want.
When I finished converting my own personal home video tapes, the result was beyond valuable. The memories stored on these tapes were priceless (and hilarious!). I am now able to share these clips with family members all over the world, bringing us closer together while we seem farther apart than ever before. Fantastic experience. I had delayed getting my video converted because all of the previous vendors I reached out to were a hassle to deal with. NYC Video was entirely different. They were quick, responsive, friendly, and completed the project quickly and with great quality. I'll be using them as my go-to for any other digital video conversion services I need.

Milena did the most amazing job with our home movies. we haven't been able to watch the VHS tapes for years. At first, I was nervous handing the memories of my family over, however, Milena kept in touch with me throughout the process. She converted approx 40 old tapes on to one disk drive. The quality is great. I am so happy!!!

I am thrilled to have all our families memories all in one place and saved for later years. I dropped off a huge box dusty tapes (small / large) and now have everything is on a Memory stick/flash drive! I don’t even know how many video cameras I used over the years! So many different types of tapes! I uploaded everything to my iCloud so I can access everything on my phone from anywhere! So many great memories that would have been lost if I had not done this now .. tapes deteriorate over time ! SO .. JUST DO IT! Your kids will never look at these if you don’t ! So ..... JUST DO IT. Worth every penny !

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To me, it doesn't feel fair to accept the same amount of money for converting a tape that has 3 minutes of content, and a tape that has 3 hours. That's why I charge by how much content is on your tapes. General breakdown is below:
$5/tape for less that 5m
$10/tape for 6m-30m
$15/tape for 31m - 59m
$20/tape with 1hr - 1hr 59m
$25/tape with 2hr - 2hr 59m
$35/tape with 3+ hr
*Additional cost for a USB with adequate storage
**If a tape is damaged and requires me to open it up to fix, I charge an additional $5 per damaged tape.
I do not record or charge for tapes that are duplicates of other tapes I have previously transferred. Unless otherwise instructed, I do not record tapes that have been recorded over with television programs or movies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will set up a call to go through how many tapes you have and give you a price estimate up front. We will discuss my process, file labelling system, how I ensure your tapes are cared for from start to finish, and what your final product will look like. How much time it takes for me to transfer the tapes is determined by how many tapes you have, but I do work rather quickly.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Film & Television production from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
