- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started baking at a young age for family members and friends. After college I landed an internship in a custom cake bakery where I learned most of my skills. After a year I decided to launch my business on the side and after 2 years I decided to run my business full time.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently took part in a Great Gatsby themed wedding photo shoot. It gave me a chance to design a cake that showcased my skills and my attention to detail. I was able to meet some amazing entrepreneurs that I can't wait to work with again. The project took about 4 days to complete the project from conceptualization to finished project.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Research what you want if you can. If you don't know the exact thing you want telling us the event, theme or color scheme is just as good. Also, the more questions the better. You don't want to walk away from a conversation feeling uneasy about your decision.
