Introduction: I started A Taste Of Happy as a way to practice my skills after I finished school, it then took off into a full business. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I work with my customers to make sure I accomplish their pastry vision. Pastry Chef and Cake Making Services

I was looking for a professional pastry chef to help me out with my surprise party for my daughter. Taste of happy responded right away and communicated with me. Taste of happy was very professional, listened to me about what I wanted and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Taste of happy made for my event Cake Pops, Brownies, Cookies and Cup Cakes, not only were they decorated beautifully with my request of color theme but they nice and moist and tasted amazing. From the first draft of the cake to the presentation, it was perfect. This was for my best friends baby shower and I ordered a minions cake, cupcakes, and cake pops... all were beautiful AND tasty. I have since ordered cake pops for friends/coworkers for holidays. Always received timely responses, clear communication, and great products.

A Taste Of Happy is such a nice company. I was sent cake pops as a surprise gift from a friend. The pops were so delicious and nicely decorated. I love sending them to other friends and family across the country because I know they're going to receive a great treat. Also bonus that it is run by a black woman!

I've ordered many cakes from ATOH for myself & my family & she's really become our first option when we need cakes or treats for special occasions. There's just something different about getting a custom cake from a small business owner like ATOH that just makes you feel like the quality & love is present & abundant in the cake -- even in the cake pops! The handcrafted touches just go the extra mile for me & if I'd rather spend my money here than on a supermarket cake. Can't recommend enough, 10/10

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My pricing is based on their request. Some things that a customer needs might have to be ordered or an item might take more time to construct than other designs. These things must be taken into consideration.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I try to get as much detail as possible. I give my customers a questionnaire and a menu. Once they see that I give them what they want future orders are 10x easier with repeat customers.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I went to the Institute of Culinary Education and other things I either taught myself through reading, watching or just trial and error.
