-I started A Taste Of Happy as a way to practice my skills after I finished school, it then took off into a full business. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I work with my customers to make sure I accomplish their pastry vision. One policy I don't stray from is, "If I wouldn't give it to a relative or someone close to me I wouldn't give it to a customer."
-I require all details to be finalized and a deposit to be received 2-3 weeks prior to the event, depending on the complexity of the order.
-I am currently offering a LeapFrog discount. If you book your wedding with me you will get a discount on an anniversary cake. If you book your baby shower cake, you will get a discount on one of your child's future cakes.
-As far as answering inquiries I usually respond when I have breaks in between projects.
-Unfortunately (at the moment) I do not do vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free items. I can make some of my menu items sugar-free.
-I do not do cake duplicates, but I can do similar cake designs. The specifics of each design are based on the consultation with the potential customer.
-I am CLOSED ON MONDAYS so any questions, concerns, and inquiries will be addressed the next available day.
-Phone/Zoom consultations can be scheduled between Tues-Fri

It was such a wonderful experience working with Cleva. She did an amazing job on my son’s birthday cake, pop cakes, and cupcakes. I had an idea for the theme and the design. I sent her a picture i found online of what I envisioned and she made it 100 times better. It came out beautiful and so tasty. She also delivered to the event’s location and was very punctual. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on their request. Some things that a customer needs might have to be ordered or an item might take more time to construct than other designs. These things must be taken into consideration.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get as much detail as possible. I give my customers a questionnaire and a menu. Once they see that I give them what they want future orders are 10x easier with repeat customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the Institute of Culinary Education and other things I either taught myself through reading, watching or just trial and error.
