Cindy made our moment special and memorable. The words chosen were priceless. We were extremely honored having her officiate our wedding. Cindy. You rock!!!! Gracias por todos. I would highly recommend her to officiate any wedding. Sincerely, Maggie & Jen EscobarJun 6, 2016Verified
Cindy officiated our 12.7.14 wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with. Cindy was incredibly flexible. When our wedding venue suddenly shut down, she assured me that she would make it work, even if we needed to change the date of our wedding. Cindy allowed us to fully participate in the writing of our wedding ceremony. Our guests raved about the ceremony and we've been told over and over that there was not a dry eye in the house.Jan 4, 2015Verified
Cindy was amazing and I am so glad I chose her to be our officiant for our ceremony. I am so glad that our wedding was as awesome as it was. She helped us even with the trip to New York and New Jersey. Thanks so much for everything and you were awesomeApr 25, 2014Verified
Cindy was an absolute life saver! My officiant canceled about a month before my wedding and Cindy stepped up to the plate right away. She had our entire ceremony written within 30 minutes of telling her how I wanted my wedding. Cindy also came out with me and my new husband in order to be our witness for the marriage license with no questions asked; we also enjoyed a lovely Tapas brunch with plenty of sangria to go around. I would recommend Cindy because she is an amazing and big hearted individual.Jun 19, 2014Verified

License Type: Marriage Officiant - NY City Clerk (NY)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received a Bachelor of Arts from The Advertising & Public Relations Program of the Media & Communication Arts Department at City College in 2001. I specialized and excelled in Event Planning. I focused on weddings, since I love seeing people happy and in love. I am a Certified Wedding Planner through the the renowned Bridal Society.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I worked at PR firm doing event planning, but I longed to be surrounded by happiness and love. So a few years ago, when my cousin asked me to help him plan his wedding to his long-time partner, it was kismet. I became ordained and a registered officiant in New York City, as a wedding gift to them. I've been planning and presiding over weddings ever since.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure you sign a contract. I am appalled by how many couples call me last minute because they are unable to get in touch with their officiant in the the weeks leading up to the wedding, or worse a no-show the day of the ceremony.
